Banditos Tacos & Tequila Maple Lawn

We were so excited to try this place after hearing about it from our friends. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our experience. The service was horrible. It took forever to get our drinks out. Longer to have our order taken. And even longer for the food to come out. We had already been there for more than an hour before our food arrived at the table. Several of our orders were incorrect or just missing. Some of our party had gluten allergies and did not receive the gluten free versions of their dish, resulting in them waiting even LONGER for their food to be remade. After waiting that long I would at least expect the food to come out hot, but it was slightly warm at best. I'd also expect the food to be life changing, but again, was disappointed to find that the food was just...fine. Our server was inattentive. We went to the bar to get our own refills for our drinks. When it came time to pay, we had automatic gratuity applied to our bill, but did not receive service worthy of that gratuity. It would have been nice if the manager was able to better compensate us for the experience we had. They did take off our queso from the bill (after we asked for them to do so as a result of waiting for so long), but that was the extent of their hospitality. I will mention that we had a party of 16, which is a lot! I understand that it can overwhelming and difficult to accommodate so many people, but the restaurant maybe had 5 other small tables occupied. So in the end, there really is no excuse for the service we received. We won't be back again. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone in the future either.

The waitress Gigi was great! Such a sweetie and gave great customer service. She made us feel so welcomed, included the hostesses guy. Good was great as well. Will return!

The servers here are very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better! The food was excellent — the Nashville Hot Tacos were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The atmosphere was lively with plenty of outdoor seating, making it a great spot to relax. I also tried the Ditos Nachos, which paired wonderfully with the Ditos IPA. The ambiance was enjoyable throughout, and overall, it turned out to be a great dining experience.

I used to love this place, but they changed the menu structure so you can't just get tacos. Now tacos can only be ordered in a meal platter with sides. I don't want sides. I want to use my stomach space for tacos.

Just walked out after sitting for nearly 20 minutes in a near empty restaurant, never receiving the margarita or soda we ordered, and never having our orders taken. Extremely disappointing service.

I was visiting from out of town and stopped in for the first time last week. It was a little busy, but the hostess, Ashleah took my name and remembered me when the table was ready, which was such a nice touch. When I asked about recommendations, she suggested the chicken Caesar wrap—so glad we tried it! We also got a few mix-and-match tacos, and everything was delicious. Overall, it was a great experience, and I just wanted to say thank you to Ashleah for her kindness and the great recommendation!

First visit to Bandito’s in Maple lawn and it did not disappoint. The food and atmosphere were great. Very friendly staff from the moment I walked in the door. I was greeted by a sweet hostess named Ashleigh. We had such a great time and I will definitely be returning.

My friends and I recently ate here for the first time ever and I definitely plan to come back in the future. Our server Hayley went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She was so fun and so helpful. We absolutely loved the food and energy of this restaurant. Amazing evening!!

I had a delightful time at Banditos - Maple Lawn. Hayley was my server and she was very polite and helpful to my food restrictions. I enjoyed trying the Spicy Cauliflower tacos which she did recommend. I would definitely recommend going!

I hate to have to write these kinds of reviews but I just received maybe the worst service I have received in a long time and feel it needs to be shared. The restaurant was not busy and we had a large table for a work gathering. I had to go to the host station to get someone to wait on our table after 15 minutes of waiting with no service. After he came our drinks did not come out until the food was ready almost a half hour later even though the bartender had nothing to do and nobody at the bar. After we asked for the check, he gave us a single check for everyone and never asked if we needed to separate things. At first he wanted to split it evenly between all of us but that's not for the waiter to decide. Once we finally got separate checks there were checks for food and extra people that were not in the group. Also some of us received the happy hour prices for food and some did not even though we ordered at the same time. Pretty much everything was bad except for the food which was decent for a taco bar. The entire wait staff just generally didn't seem to really care about anything and certainly not our table. After everything you would think a manager would come out and talk to us but never did. It was bad enough for me to say I will never go to Banditos again nor recommend it as a future work happy hour spot. It was embarrassing that we suggested to go there with our out of town guests and made them put up with such terrible service. Many other better places close by.
