Looking forward to more GF options!Original: I’ve been going for macaroons for a couple months, and coffee sometimes, but today I decided to try a hot cider with bourbon with my partner. They carded both of us, made a deal about it, and forgot to make my drink. The person who carded us proceeded to say “you ordered two?” like they didn’t check both of our cards and the receipt said 2. In fact, we watched the person behind the bar make my partner’s drink, 3 more alcoholic drinks, clean up, and put everything away. We stood waiting and staring and trying to call for someone. We ordered to-go… if you see people standing and waiting at the front, and trying to catch someone, doesn’t it mean they’re missing something? I’ll be back for macaroons, but forget getting an overpriced drink that’s made without effort and the most you get is “sorry about that”. Don’t get me wrong, their coffee and macaroons are amazing, and I’ll probably be back - but I regret tipping today and I won’t be wasting my money on a boozy drink again.

Over the rainbow treats! I sponsored a holiday cookie decorating needing 100 cookies for children to decorate! Decadent made it so easy and were so accommodating to make beautiful cooking to decorate! Provided all the icing and sprinkles! The best place in Howard Co. !!

The owners and staff at Decadent are amazing! I was behind with my Valentines Day planning for my 93 year old Mom who lives at a nearby Assisted Living. I live out of state. The thing that gives these Seniors great pleasure are sweets and deserts. Not only did Decadent have over two hundred cupcakes in their case, Jim kindly walked me through the varieties. When I realized that they are not partners with one of the delivery services and did a slight panic, Paige one of the owners offered to delivery the cupcakes personally. My Mom and her tablemates enjoyed the beautiful and delicious Valentine cupcakes at the dinner table. Decadent saved the day. PS: I also bought my Moms Strawberry Birthday cake from them back in January and it was one of the prettiest cakes I have ever seen...

We stop by Decadent Coffee and Dessert Bar for a couple of breakfast sandwiches and coffees. We walked it to the small but bustling cafe and were greeted immediately by their friendly staff. We decided to try the egg, bacon, and cheese croissant sandwich, a regular croissant, a mocha cappuccino, and a regular cappuccino. Both croissants were buttery, flaky and down right good! Our drinks were crafted nicely. Great experience and looking to return soon.

So, you're telling me, they took my two favorite things and put them together. A dessert shop that's also a bar?! How soon can I move in?! Talked my dad into coming here, didn't take much talking into. We came after the breakfast/ lunch rush and we got a parking spot up front (private parking in a large shopping center area) Honestly, it was so hard to pick what to have!!! They offer a variety of sandwiches (mostly breakfast type food. Like avocado toast, waffles and breakfast sandwiches). But I didn't come here for Childs play, I came for the cake and DRINKS They have a huge drink menu. Drink your heart out coffee lovers!! I think of myself as an espresso martini expert, so I had to order an espresso martini! My dad got an iced coffee, and although I know my espresso martinis, we definitely are not coffee experts. Not going to lie, when going to order coffee my head starts to spin and I get anxious lol. The staff here was really helpful and gave tons of suggestions for my dads drink My dad and I also got a cookie skillet with ice cream to share. We got to pick which gelato goes on top. We went with my favorite, birthday cake. And then also got a couple of cake slices, cookies and dessert bars to snack on later! This bakery has won tons of awards and you can really see why. The owners pour their heart into this place. I really wish I had somewhere like this to go to back in California. So this place is delicious AND friendly (I also saw some vegan friendly options) The ambiance was really cute and clean. Gave me your run of the mill coffee / brunch place vibes. Nothing crazy, but a place I'd definitely come to with girlfriends. It has a bunch of clean cafe tables and chairs inside. If you're the type of person that comes to coffee shops to get some work / homework done I'd highly recommend this place. I love supporting local businesses, my father also liked how military friendly this place is. (They offer a military discount, my dad is a disabled veteran) I'll be making this a regular place for every time I visit my dad. This place deserves every award they have won. Even though this place sees tons of people a day, as soon as you walk in you felt like family. All the staff was great at making you feel at home. They have a little section of things already prepared to go and they had a couple comfy chairs to lounge in They also have amazing other places in the same shopping center. P.S - don't forget to tip the hardworking friendly staff here

It’s my first visit and definitely will not be the last. This place is so much fun with yummy beverages, freshly baked desserts, homemade Gelato and superb customer service. I had a large (16 oz) Authentic Italian Hot Chocolate. A staff later asked me if I wanted whip cream and marshmallows. It was so tasty!! Everyone behind the counter was super friendly and the operation was efficient despite the long line. Highly recommend it!

I was really excited to hear about this place, which is nestled in Maple Lawn. Once you know where it is, it is easy to get to. The shopgirls are sweet and when they smeared the cake I ordered when putting it in a too-small box, they called the baker to come in to fix it and put it in a bigger box. Sadly, the cake was not very good - icing way too thick and cake kind of meh. It's a cute little place, and I might try it again for coffee and croissants, but I was sorely disappointed.
