This is my second visit to this restaurant. Since it was a nice dY, I sat outdoors. All the food I ordered was delicious. My favorite was the fresh oysters. The service was on point for a busy lunch. Definitely coming back soon.

A great local seafood centric restaurant, highly recommended if you visit the Maple Lawn district. While there was no appetizer bread rolls, the calamari we ordered as an appetizer came out nice and hot almost immediately after we placed the order.I recommend the tuna nachos (which were served more like mini tuna steaks in chips) and the seafood pasta! Our server Sean did a great job accommodating our needs and answering our questions. There was no wait for our party of 4 on Sunday afternoon. I will be back to this location again when I’m in the mood for some tasty seafood ??

We went to Hudson Coastal last night and realized it was still Happy Hour. We reviewed the HH menu and placed our order. Well we tried and were told they were out of Red Blend, then they were out of Michelob Ultra, and then they were out of Bud Light. There is a liquor store several doors down from the restaurant there's no reason to be out of anything. Our server/bartender seemed off of their A game and in a rush so much so that we gave up on ordering more than what we wanted. We were going to order dessert. Instead of coming back to take the order, he brought us our check. Okay it was time to go. Not sure when we will go back.

The atmosphere and service were good but the food was mediocre. The fried calamari was chewy and tough. I almost choked on a piece. The muffins were more like popovers in consistency. Not good. The mussels in the garlic wine sauce dish was so heavy on the rosemary that it overpowered the garlic and wine. Not tasty at all. The mini fish and chips was fine. My husband enjoyed the chicken but left his sides. The Dark Horse Chardonnay was a bargain at $6 per glass and tasted good. The mixed drinks, Drink on the Beach and the Sidecar were good and had adequate alcohol.

It's nice to have a locally owned place in a strip mall surrounded by chains. The service was prompt and good. The drink and beer list is sufficient and the food was tasty. Everything here was about 3.5 stars. Good solid food, nothing extraordinary.

Last night was my first experience with Hudson Coastal. My wife and I met another couple who were also dining there for the first time. Our test of any seafood joint is their crab dip. My test is their fish and chips. The dip was warm but not hot. And the amount of bread provided would only work if one heaped dip on the slices. The fish and chips were an expensive dish at 27.50 and a unique presentation. The fish was one big battered filet atop fries and next to a unique slaw of super greens, broccoli and horseradish sauce. My expectations with this dish: crispy fish and chips. While some fries were crispy, the fish and slaw nullifies those beneath them. The batter on the fish was not crispy. It was thin and mostly detached from the fish when eaten. This wasn't unpleasant but not the tastiest battered fish I've had. The server fulfilled our order quickly but he never filled my glass of water. He did refill other beverages but not the water. Lastly, he gave an impression of not wanting to be there. Maybe he was having a bad day and was just going through the motions. The ambiance of the location isn't exceptional nor is it terrible. The noise level can get loud and the mood lighting is too low to read the menu easily. I can't say that a return visit will happen nor would I recommend this location to anyone.

Good food. Good service. A nice selection on the menu. Will definitely go back as I would like to try more on the menu. I like that you can stay fairly low carb as well.

My fiancé and I love dining at Hudson Coastal for a casual lunch, and we prefer sitting at the bar! Sundays are our favorite time to come for the chill vibe and atmosphere. They also offer delicious drink and snack specials such as: $1 oysters, and $5 mimosa and Bloody Mary's. Melvi, the bartender, and Michelle, the manager will make you feel right at home!

Why would they (chef) deep fry sea scallops? Fortunately, they were not overcooked, but no eye appeal! Stop it! Take the time to sauté with a nice color on outside! Hot skillet, butter etc

The Lemon Cheesecake was OUTSTANDING!Jerk Mahi Mahi was a little dry but the flavor was delicious. My fiancé food had to be remade due to the sauce being entered wrong, but Aiden took responsibility and apologized a couple times. The atmosphere was delightful...cozy and comfortable.Parking: Parking lot avaliable for all stores wothin the shopping center.

Went to the the Hudson Coastal bar for the first time and the experience was just amazing. The service was fantastic! You must try the crab flat bread and the season lasagna! I will recommend this place if you are a seafood lover. The restaurant owner was waiting table and that was also amazing to see!
