Randomly stumbled upon this place and I am so happy I did. I was born and raised in New York and these sandwiches are definitely NY style! Came in during lunch time and they were SUPER busy so I’d recommend getting your order to go if you’re in a rush for lunch.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bagels and bread available

We arrived with a group and did not need to be seated together, but they still would not seat or serve us. They had many big tables open, and we told them we did not need to sit together, that we could sit two or four or six we just wanted to eat hereThey I turned us away.Horrible host. Horrible management.There are many places right around it, who will gladly accept your business

I found Mikey and Mel's deli through the car meet they host a few times a year. It is one of the smoothest and compliant meets I've been to as everyone is respectful and friendly. I try to support their business when I attend these as they are kind enough to host these events for us car enthusiasts. I went yesterday and again, great event, well organized and all around a good time. One tiny complaint is that I ordered a breakfast sandwich which was ready to go, understandably so due to the volume of customers, however as I sat down to eat it I found it was the incorrect sandwich. No biggie, I went back and stood next to the register station hoping to get the cashier's attention. She looked at me but continued on her way. Finally after another 5-7 mins, I got the attention of one of the workers who were preparing the coffees and told him of the issue which he promptly fixed and let me keep the original sandwich as well. All was sorted, but I was a bit disappointed in what was called a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich. I only got a pic of one half of it as I was walking and eating the other, but this half is pretty sorry looking lol. Hey I get it, it's busy and maybe their meat supplier provided some small sausage pucks. But, as a customer, it pains me to pay $7 for this lol. I'll still give them my business every time I go there, but maybe I'll stay away from these ready to go sandwiches. Looking forward to trying other stuff from them!
This is an amazing deli and restaurant! Easy parking, great location, very clean, with friendly and welcoming staff. The menu is out of this world. Great mix of popular classics and things I have not seen available anywhere else. There are so many things I still want to try here. They have large portions here, and on a recent trip three meals was plenty for our family of four and everyone left happy.Kid-friendliness: Staff is super friendly and the area is open and there's no expectation of being quiet. I would feel comfortable bringing kids of any ages. Only thing to remember is to keep kids from touching the glass display cases.

Attention: if you buy baked goods at this deli, I suggest you take your business elsewhere. I had an issue with my purchase when I was overcharged for their baked goods, and when I addressed it with the manager, he said the prices for any of the baked goods are not listed anywhere and the employees there can answer my questions about what anything costs, just implying that they can pretty much charge you anything they want, and they do. Even if they overcharge each one of us by 1$, it adds up for them. I didn’t realize it’s a shady business like that and thought other people should know too.Before any questions arise, I did address it with the manager who wasn’t very helpful and sounded like he didn’t care about my money spent in that place.

Good deli food with no frillsThe salad plate was piled with beautiful veggies and heaping scoops of delicious salads (I got shrimp and egg, AHmazing)The bagel and schemer were solid, nothing to rave about but when covered in egg salad….greatThe waitress, Lori, was absolutely wonderful; friendly, efficient, my order was perfect….10/10 no notes
