I haven't been to Sidamo in a long time, pre- Covid and I live in the area. I thought I would treat myself to a lavender latte and read a book inside on a rainy Saturday. I like the vibe and ambiance. They had jazz music playing and not as loud as Starbucks. I like the art that lines the walls. It feels very homey. The last time I was here, there were a lot of mothers hanging out with other moms and their children in strollers. It was also a weekday before lunch too. Today, there were few people hanging out with their friends or reading a book. I like the couch area and where I sat to read my book, drink my lavender latte, and people watch. Sidamo also offers baked goods and lunch. From my observation, people that come to Sidamo are regulars and possibly live in the area or nearby.

I went in around 3:30 for a quick coffee/snack with my family. We went to order and the woman working there was very rude.We walked in and had a very unwelcoming look on her face already. As we were ordering, she was moving around the place, doing other things, and didn’t even look like she was listening to what we were saying, and at one point even left during our order to go do something in the kitchen. Customer service was the worst, do not recommend.

Food and coffee were delicious. The cafe was very cozy and cute, but the windows could definitely use some blinds. They are big beautiful windows, but the sun was glaring on me for hours, making it very warm and hard to see my laptop screen. Blinds would help make those window seats more comfortable for remote workers/

I recently went there with my family to have cup of coffee. I experienced the worst customer service of my entire life. The old lady seems she didn't appreciate our presence there. I wouldn't recommend any decent person to go there for they ruin your day.

It's easy to be kind. It's easy to be polite. It's easy to offer good service to patrons. But not here at Sidamo during my last visit. Nice place. But the lady behind the counter had an attitude that suggested I was an interruption to her day. My friend and I ordered the lunch special and two cappuccinos. After a reasonable wait, the lentil soup and grilled cheese appeared. The lentil soup was watered down and didn't have much taste. The sandwich was fine but nothing special. The two caps unapologetically didn't appear until well after we received our food -- at least 20 minutes for coffee. Sidamo Coffee could be much more than it is but a change in attitude might be helpful.

Love it when I discover a new place. Especially one that is close and convenient! Bought breakfast sandwiches and they were delicious. Got a coffee too that was so much better than starshmucks. Wish there was a "respond" feature to the low reviewers. So many are laughably overdramatic. I found the restaurant clean, inviting and well laid out. Staff was smiling and super friendly. Can't wait to go back for lunch!

Cool atmosphere, relaxed people, Ethiopian coffee in 3 different (dark) roasts, but strong so you can taste the full flavors. Food good too. More vegetarian options please!

Visited Sidamo with a friend for coffee on 10/20 around 2-30-3pm. One female was working, extremely rude, no smile, hello, thank-you, bye, nothing at all, plus she was banging something near her coffee machine which was very loud, which happened a few times. I will not be going there again and will stick to Starbucks.
Congratulations on winning the worst coffee shop award (given by me). Cappuccino and latte shouldn't have the same frothy milk.
Sidamo is great. We love their Morning Chais (Chai w/ a shot of espresso). The owner, Mimi, and her staff are very kind and welcoming.
