We had a wonderful early birthday dinner last night with Mackenzi! She was very communicative and patient as we tried to hold out on the deck in hopes the rain wouldn’t hit us. When it inevitably did, she got us moved right inside and made sure my partner’s birthday was celebrated with delicious crème brûlée cheesecake, candle, and even wrote him a birthday card! Our waitress, Riley, did a great job serving our table of 15 people. She was very attentive and it was no trouble for her to separate our bills. All the food was good and came around the same time.
Location and food were excellent, only to be marred by very poor wait staff. Our waiter took forever to bring our drinks, seemed not to understand that appetizers come before the main course, and overall seemed neglectful. We chalked much of these failings up to inexperience and summer help, but the limitations did have a negative impact on our overall experience. But should say again, food was excellent, perfectly prepared. We will go again hoping for better service next time.
