Took my kids here after Skyzone. Our ramen was delicious- we got the Akira and the Volcano. We also loved the shrimp shumai, the Kaarage chicken, and the Hokkaido Cheesecake. We tried the chasu bao and the crystal shrimp dumplings which were good too. The service was quick. It’s a small, family friendly place. Pretty busy, and the sushi going out looked awesome. Only offers tea and sodas to drink. We aren’t often in Crofton but might have to make a return trip just for Akira.

We had our office holiday party at Akira. We arrived right when the restaurant opened at 1130 so there was no wait. Service was prompt and efficient. Our appetizers arrived quickly. The food was great and everyone was very happy. I had shrimp tempura ramen and added some of the spicy sauce. It gave it a great flavor. We had a wonderful lunch!

Go here for the excellent service. Stay for the food. We had the Akira ramen, black dragon sushi, and takoyaki. Then we ordered “to go” because we had to share with family.

Was excited to try this place as it came recommended and I love ramen, however, I have been violently ill with food poisoning today and do not think I will ever go back to this place again.

A hidden gem in plain sight! Reasonable prices for excellent quality! Feels like an authentic Japanese sushi and ramen house. I’ll be back often.
