Coal Fire

I went to Coal Fire for my first time the other day for lunch. Once I walk though the front door I was impressed with the spacious and super clean dinning area. I order a Margarita Pizza with their signature sauce. Once I bit into my Pizza I got such a wonderful taste of the fresh basil that was on it. At that time I new I found what I was looking for in a Margarita Pizza it was delicious and I can't wait to go back for more.

Ordered today for my workplace and received amazing service! The young man at the host stand helped me get the order safely to my car. I really appreciated that he went the extra mile!

What a disappointment! The menu looks great here, I was so happy to see the ring of fire pizza because it’s my favorite toppings. Plus there a “spicy” pizza sauce on it. I love spice! The sauce was so sweet that my boyfriend thought it was bbq on it. No spice, but lots of extra sugar in it! Unfortunately I ordered a side of meatballs with the same sauce on it. The meatballs were bland and extremely mushy, and then after covering it with the sickly sweet sauce, it made a dish that was barely edible. I feel like they might’ve tried to hide the terrible meatballs by putting so much cheese over the top that I could barely even reach them. Im never gonna complain about too much cheese, but this one definitely felt like it was there to hide the rest of the flaws in the meal. I also ordered a Caesar salad, which was good. It’s pretty hard to mess up a Caesar salad. We ended up tossing about half of our meal, so this was a true waste of money to eat here. Im not including photos because the food looked great, it just tasted terrible.

Go for the food not for the service. Great wedge salad & their pizzas are good. I order takeout regularly and there is a 50% chance the order is incorrect. Also, the waitstaff has been rude on multiple occasions.

I love Coal Fire restaurant! Their coal fired pizza is outstanding; the ingredients are always fresh and they are expertly made to order. I also love the Coal Fire salad that has the yummiest bacon and a delicious house made vinaigrette dressing. The service is spot on. I recommend asking for Jacob who gave my gal pal and I outstanding service. Jacob was knowledgeable and friendly with excellent follow up skills. He made sure we had everything we needed and re-filled our drinks before we had to ask him.

So being African American myself, I had to see what was up with Lauren's review. It was full of animosity and I just needed to know why. I go and this place is simple not bad in any real way, the manager Nicole was chill, kind and thoughtful. The African American server was phenomenal, by the way, brought my pizza nice and hot. As well as mixed staff in the back of house, I don't know what the issue is really. Seemed really out of place so I go to see Lauren's other reviews.. turns out shes just aggressive against any establishment that does not obviously cater to one crowd over another. Take her words with a lot of salt. If you'd like to understand better yourself, click her name and it pulls the past reviews and it's very obvious.

The service was great and the food tasted good, hot, and fresh but two words….food poisoning, within an hour!!

I enjoy your Caesar salad and pizza, but after my last visit, I have been reconsidering whether to come back. You need to improve your hygiene; the floors and tables were greasy. I can only imagine what might be happening in the kitchen.

It was our visit in several months and we were surprised in the drop in quality of food, service and atmosphere. We sat in the bar area and were surprised by the lack of professionalism in the bartender and the quality of food from the kitchen. The bartender appeared to be more focused on his socialization and singing with a microphone then getting our order accurately placed. After ordering a top shelf drink, he announced to the bar that the drink was not covered by the happy hour prices. Then he got order wrong and attempted to bring us what appeared to be frozen chicken bits for our chicken Caesar salad! We quickly asked for our check and left the restaurant.
