Eggspectation - Gambrills

I go to this location twice in a weekend to take a client who is absolutely obsessed with eggspectation however, today I’ve had a very disappointing experience of which the waitress got confused over what my order was and accused me of ordering the wrong thing. The manager “Thomas” came out to tell me that he has been getting multiple complaints about me which he has never brought to my attention and I’ve never had an experience with any of his other staff. I am pissed.

She is autistic so maybe that’s the real problem.

Pretty cute family spot. I used to go to the one in Silver Spring many many years ago. I wish the champagne for the mimosas was a tad bit stronger but not bad.

Great experience each and every time, Tom the manager is always accommodating for me as I eat and work here often. Great breakfast tacos and French toast, highly recommended. All the servers are great and friendly. 5 stars.

This was the Shrimp and crab cake benedict over cheesy grits. The shrimp were plump, the crab cakes were packed with crab meat. Everything about this dish was 😘🤌🏾. Also, they serve fresh squeezed OJ which I appreciate.

This place gets busy. Although my party didn't have to wait to be seated around 11 am, as we were leaving around Noon, we noticed quite a few people waiting to be seated.

We had a great birthday breakfast celebration on a Saturday morning. While they were busy, the food was worth the wait, and the service was great as well. We will be back!!

Please believe me when I say I typically always have something to complain about, but this restaurant gets my very picky seal of approval. To prove it too you, the only negative comment I have is that the booth had a few crumbs and the seat had cracks. Other than that the service was great, the food was freshly made and was served super fast. The waffle was to die for. You could order a whole or half. Trust me you're going to want the whole waffle, it melts in your mouth. I had the Shrimp and grits which was very savory. I've been trying to get back to this place all week, but feel I'm definitely going to aim for Saturday morning, Lord willing. Go get you some! Definitely better than the overrated First Watch establishments that I've frequented. Note that they were ready to seat a table of five immediately, but my party was delayed and became a party of four. The wait was still less than 10 minutes. I have absolutely no complaints, which is rare.

I really enjoyed my food but my waitress was rude. I wanted to order an extra egg on the side, but I didn’t know how to explain what I now know is over easy because I had never ordered it before. She had no patience with me and instead of helping me understand the different ways they are prepared, she was very rude and said “you have to tell me what you want because I cant order your eggs for you” in a super off putting tone. Under pressure, I hurried and grabbed my phone to google it and told her while being taken aback. She could’ve easily helped me or grabbed someone who could but instead left a bad taste in my mouth. I’ve never been treated like that at any restaurant for simply being unsure of how something is prepared.

Went for breakfast today with my mom and toddler. The server accidentally hit the hot syrup (glass) bottle on the table corner when bringing the food out to our table & the syrup spilled all over myself, my toddler, and the table. Though it was an accident, the manager said “so what, it was an accident, it’s not as though something was wrong with the food” and initially refused to comp some of the bill. While we sat there sticky, clothes ruined, in hot syrup. She offered $10 coupon off of our next visit. The managers actions were deplorable! Not to mention, the server never came back! The manager said “her uniform was also ruined”
