To start - chips were a day old, and the salsa is pace picante sauce from New York City. See picture. Tamales definitely not home made, they don’t look like tamales I had before. They were cold in the inside. Stake fajitas… 1 out of 5 stars. Not the usual fajita meet used all over the USA. Child’s quesadilla was good. Go to Chipotle before visiting this place.

My first visit here. Met a friend for lunch. I ordered the pork fajitas. Portions were large and I needed a doggie bag. My server very kindly brought an additional order of soft tacos to go. My dining partner ordered the carne asada but had to send it back. The beef tasted sour! She reordered the pork fajitas and was glad she did. Not sure I'll be back as this place is quite a distance from home for me but my friend, who lives nearer, suggested it...

There are a lot of really good Mexican restaurants in the area so when we are craving it, we go for the specials. LUNCH: They have daily specials and combos to pick from--all under $12.00. TACO TUESDAY: All day special includes 3 Street Tacos for $8.99, 1 Street Taco for $2.99, 3 regular shredded chicken or ground beef taco for $8.99, and 1 regular taco for $2.99. MARIACHI THURSDAY: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. It gets loud. You have been warned. HAPPY HOUR: Monday through Thursday from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM with specials on drinks and appetizers. It is one of the earliest Happy Hours in the area, it is also one of the best for drinks! Must be seated at the bar area though which is HARD because it is small.

We found this spot while in the Gambrills area running some errands. It is around what looked like the town center with so many other food options and a theater, but this spot stood out as we were seated a few minutes upon arrival on a Friday evening. But as the night went on it got a little busier. I had the horchata to drink, which was amazing. Then I ordered the carné asada dinner special which was a huge portion of rice, beans, amazing steak, tomatoes with a side of tortillas to make your own tacos. The food was so tasty and not spicy hot but well seasoned. I had a good amount but also had some leftovers for lunch the next day. The service was great, our waiter stopped by a couple of times to make sure we were satisfied and offered recommendations even we requested. Definitely stop by if you're in the area and craving some Mexican food.

Parking: Street parking is limited but there's plenty of parking in a short walking distance.

Okay food, but I ordered tacos and got the filling but no tacos in my bag. Lately I've just been feeling their quality and service decline. I probably won't be back.

Great spot in Waugh Chapel. Had the Jumbo Margarita and it was really good. The mocaljete guacamole and the choriqueso were both winners and the Birria special was delicious... please add the birria to the permanent menu! Will be coming back to try more entrees!

This place is okay, my fiancée wanted to try something new so we gave this place a chance. The inside is quite nice, lots of beautiful art and lighting but I think the food and customer service is lacking. The food is definitely based on personal preference but I wasn't fond of the chips or cheese and we weren't greeted when we entered or when we left. Our server could've been more attentive but overall for the price it wasn't terrible. My fiancée ordered tacos and fajitas and thought it was worth the buck. Probably wouldn't go here again though If you are in the area I'd say to give it a shot!

Was excited to see an authentic Mexican restaurant but my excitement quickly turned into a big disappointment. I came in to order a to go order and all the waiters acted as if I was a ghost. I first walked in and asked if I could see a menu and the waiter gave me the menu and they all walked by me and never even acknowledged me. The phone was ringing off the hook which was where I was waiting and they ignored that too. One thing I will never do is to beg an establishment to please come get my money. I will not come back here again. There are too many establishments that would love to have my business and that are more courteous. This was my first and last visit. Bye!

We were so pleasantly surprised by how incredible our food was here! My husband and I said it was a top 5 Mexican meal for us and ranked up there with our favorite places in Texas and Arizona. My husband got the mole special and I got the carnitas tacos. I also got the jumbo skinny margarita. Everything was out of this world great! The carnitas were crispy, the tortillas were soft and tasted homemade, the guac was fresh. The chips and salsa were homemade and delicious. My husbands mole was full of flavor and he was talking about it the next day still. Lastly, the skinny margarita was made with fresh squeezed fruit and it tasted amazing and homemade. We want to go back again already.Kid-friendliness: My toddler was grumpy and our waiter always stopped by our table to make her giggle as he walked by. So kind
