This cozy, rustic diner has clearly been lovingly maintained by the same family for decades. It’s the kind of place that feels like home the moment you walk through the door.
I brought my daughters for breakfast, and we all fell in love. They had the French toast and buttermilk pancakes—both were fluffy, golden, and perfectly sweet. I went with scrambled eggs and cheese, seasoned home fries, and a side of locally sourced sausage that was incredibly flavorful. Everything tasted fresh, comforting, and made with real care.
Prices are more than fair; our meal was satisfying in every way without breaking the bank. Reno’s is a rare gem: simple food, done exceptionally well.
The highlight of our visit was chatting with the lovely owner (who also waited on our table). She even gave me some great book recommendations to add to my summer vacation reading list.
We’ll absolutely be back.

My wife and I had a pretty good experience with our breakfast at Renos this morning.The place is pretty old but it has charm. Our waiter was a young man that seemed as though he was in training but he was extremely polite.The food arrived and was incrediblly delicious and plentiful. I ordered the skillet and my wife had the two egg meal. We particularly enjoyed the potatoes and the way they were seasoned.As we were heading out, we had a lovely conversation with the lady whom I presume is the owner. Such a very warm and friendly presence. If you want a hole-in-the-wall, mom and pop diner experience, give this place a chance. This is not the place to go if you're in a hurry, but if you want to enjoy the company of your friends and family while you wait awhile for your meal, you won't regret it.

I lived in Crofton for 15 years and moved to Edgewater 2 years ago. Passed by this place hundreds of times and dismissed it for no real reason, just was always there. Decided to go on a whim because we were just in the area and wanted breakfast, and I truly, wholeheartedly regret not coming here for so long. The atmosphere was almost out of a diner scene in a classic movie; well-traveled, cozy, and a place to remember. Our server was very attentive and friendly, our food came quickly, and it was absolutely delicious. I had the French toast waffle with home fries, and I would come back every week just for that bit of heaven topped with strawberries. Do not pass by Reno's like I did, go get some amazing breakfast!!
Great spot for breakfast with a time stood still oldschool atmosphere. Clocks on the walls and grandma's house vibe with reasonably priced food and great service. Have driven by for years and wished I had came sooner. Loved the french toast waffle !

Have you ever sat down to watch a movie you had no intention of paying attention too and you ended up loving every minute of it? Same here. I had middling expectations of this place but wow. I was very surprised with how I felt coming out of this. The food is great, the atmosphere is relaxed, the people are helpful and kind. This was a great place to be.
