I used to like royal kabab, it was my favorite Indian food place in the area but then they got a different cook or something because the food has changed. They go too crazy with the spices and heat now. The veggie pakoras are aren't supposed to be spicy at all. When I first had them they were my favorite but now I can't eat them because they are waaaaaay too spicy and was heavy on the cinnamon or something one time. Mouth was on fire after one bite. They even made the tamarind chunty spicy too. All my favorites have too much heat now and other spices. It's overkill and ruined this place for me.

The lady at the front is so rude, she doesn’t know how to talk with respect and doesn’t care for the business. I would not recommend this restaurant at all. Your job as a cashier Is to give good customer service and you can’t even do that, it’s better they change the employee or teach them respectful behavior.

The tikka masala is to DIE for. I love that they use insulated containers for delivery so my food always arrives hot. They’re the best of the best.

I'll update post with rest of photos. Customer service and portions are top notch. For $35 we recieved vindalooo chicken, sides, Naan, mango lassi, Tandori chicken, more sides and extra chutney cilantro per request without up charge. Owners or staff are friendly, helpful and proud of their food.

We are here visiting API volleyball tournament across the street and live an hour 45 minutes away, so unfortunately won't be back unless there's another vball tourney.

Go Shockwave!

Horrible, is not severed the usual way but as portioned meals with very little rice that make it difficult to share entrees. Also I called to ask as the menu had a separate combo section that I avoided ordering from as I did not want the items as a meal. During the call I was transferred there times, once without being told and was given a well that's how it comes and hung up on. Completely regret ordering from here, will never again.

Royal Kabab is a hidden gem of true authentic Indian cuisine flavors that are made to perfection.

Ayesha is the real MVP at Royal Kabab. She’s always there working profusely every day to ensure every single customer experience is extraordinary in every aspect. Ayesha’s culinary skills are exceptional. Every dish is hand crafted with love and made with traditional techniques. The exquisite dishes are made from fresh ingredients and warm hospitality. Ayesha’s dedication and passionate customer service plays a huge role at Royal Kabab’s success in the community.

The Yellow Daal Tarka is my absolute favorite dish. It's freshly served with the savory delicious herbs and spices that make you want to dance on every bite.

The owner Zohaib always prides himself with top notch hospitality with appreciation for all of his dedicated customers as myself who frequent the restaurant often for the best authentic Indian food in the DMV.

I have a plant based lifestyle and love how the owner Zohaib at Royal Kabab makes sure my food is always carefully prepared with the upmost quality and carelessness.

The portion sizes are astronomical. The food prices are extremely reasonable compared to other restaurants.

If you want the best Indian food cuisine experience without the expensive flight ✈️ to India stop by Royal Kabab today.

Dietary restrictions: Royal Kabab has plant based options without meat, diary, and eggs available on the menu.

Parking: Plenty of parking available.

This was our first time eating here, and we had difficulty finding the entrance. We eventually realized it was inside the gas station’s mini snack shop, which also houses a Subway counter. The place was quiet when we arrived for lunch. The lady gave us a paper menu with prices, and we ordered based on that. However, she later informed us that the menu was outdated, so we ended up paying more than expected when we received the bill. I wish they would update or remove the old menu if they’re not going to honor the prices listed. The food was served in plastic to-go boxes, and there was more sauce than meat. I’ve had tikka masala at several restaurants, but unfortunately, this one didn’t meet my expectations. It didn’t taste as good as the other restaurants I’ve tried. The tandoori chicken was also bony and has little amount of meat. I do like the naan bread they included in the meal. I don’t think we’ll be returning anytime soon.

Had a non-veg kabob but didn't taste or look like a kabob at all. Fillings are only filled with some cucumbers and almost no protein. I Do not recommend this if you're looking to try kabob.
