Their customer service is absolutely deplorable. I’m not sure if the older gentleman believes that somehow he is providing a service that is incapable of being provided elsewhere, but he needs an attitude adjustment. I arrived with another family member at 11am which is what time the establishment opens. Another customer in front of me was undecided on her order, the employee then asked what I wanted to order. I gave my order quickly, the prior customer then placed her order which mimicked mine however the employee never stated that there were only one dozen left. The employee then asked me what other selection I wanted. I asked what he had left and the following attitude that surfaced was disgusting. I’ve never been yelled at over crabs. The gentleman behind me asked if he was going to have to worry about him yelling at him as well. They will never receive my service again. I don’t patron establishments that lack character and basic communication skills.

I have been going to shoreline for a very long time, and today was by far the worst experience I have ever had! No issues with the customer service as the employees are always very nice. My issue was with my order. I ordered the fried catfish sandwich (lettuce, tomato, cheese, mayo) and I got a large piece of fried fish on a small bun with a little mayo and cheese. I also ordered the crabby fries and they were cold and bland with barely any crabmeat at all. Maybe this was just a one off, but I was not satisfied.

If I could ZERO Stars, I would. I recently moved to the area and wanted crabs. I usually go to Ruff & Ready but thats a far drive from Bowie. I visited this place and received nothing but WATERY EMPTY crabs. They get you with the “buy a dozen and receive 3 free crabs” and now I see why. This was a waste of money. Thats what I get for being lazy.

Coconut shrimp were delicious. Broccoli was bland (hence the 4 stars) but they had a wonderful selection of seafood. Can't wait to try the crab cakes!

Only get raw food from here. The cooked food is way overcooked and deeply fried with no flavor. Raw jumbo and giant shrimp is perfect and fresh if you steam at home. That is our go to. They have plastic barriers between counters and people which make it extremely hard to hear each other. They take your food to checkout so you cannot double check anything. We ended up with a whole extra pound of shrimp last time that we didnt want. No wonder the bill was so high! Ask to check before paying.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON FROZEN FREEZER BURNT SEAFOOD AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Came in last week to get some birthday treats for myself and my father. We bought 5 lbs of Dungeness crab cluster as we splurge a few times a year. Once we got home, dad steamed up a cluster for a tasty treat. He was disgusted with how dry the meat was. Thought something happened on our end or the standards were set to high. I tried a few days later and let a cluster thaw out to check the quality of the meat. The cluster again was so dry and freezer burnt. My dad was so disgusted and appalled at the quantity of the dungeons crabs that he threw his half of 5lbs in the trash. I called to report the poor quality of Dungeness crabs to the manager, don’t know his name but the skinner man that is always super friendly and happy to see you man, he told me “yes , ma’am, that is what Dungeness crabs and crab legs are supposed to be like. They are dry products. That is how it is supposed to taste.” I explained that we come into his store a few times a year and have eaten Dungeness crabs for a long time now and know that this is not acceptable quality. I also explained that I was not asking for a refund, but an even exchange of what was kept of the 5lbs. He told me that there was nothing he could do for me. I asked if I just wasted $144 he said “yes ma’am there is nothing I can do for you.” This is the worst customer service that I have ever seen for the amount of money that is spent in this establishment on a yearly basis. I am more appalled at the terrible customer service than I am at the fact of poor quality product. I understand the fact that they are already frozen and need to stay frozen, but do not agree that they should taste freezer burnt and chewy.

Mr. Owner. #1Why would a customer drop $125 on crabs and not be allowed to see them. #2 Your employe was really off today. He even made a comment,, that he doesn't know if he can take it for another few years to work there. #3 Buy a dozen, get 2 free, well we didn't get the 2 free crabs. #4 The crabs taste like they where just re- heated, is this true?You may have had some bad customers today, but we just wanted to see what swamp dogs looks like, because your extra larges become large ones and your medium becomes small at times.Tell me so that we can expect to get decent looking crabs for the price we pay. Everyone tries to make a living, but being rude and not trying to step to the other side of the counter is really not the Shoreline that I am a custom to and that employee was really off and not himself today.So tell us what can we do to make sure we don't be treated this way and stop blaming everything on COVID -19 because in the back everything is going on from not wearing mask to smoking. Another customer that was there when we got there, stated that he'll have to find another place to go. He said that it's almost as if we owe them and that we have to settle for lack of humanity service. Thanks Merry Christmas.

Went here after a referral. I was told they had great fresh seafood. Well I guess they were referring to buying it and cooking yourself because thee cooked food wasn't good at all. Everything was cooked so hard it was dried out! Not a fan!

Shoreline has gone downhill as far as crabs are concerned. The last two times I ordered crabs from here they were the worse crabs I’ve ever had. Last time I bought large crabs and there might have been 2 that were just decent, the rest were empties. Tonight I decided to give them another chance and ordered super jumbo thinking there’s no way they will be bad. I got home and they were super empties. They legit sold me dollar crabs at the super jumbo price. The little bit of meat that was in them, mostly just in their legs, was that wet soggy meat. Disgusting. I should have just said never mind and immediately asked for a refund, because the bag felt light, and when I told the girl have a great night as she handed me the bag, she just looked at me like she was sorry. Didn’t even respond, because she probably already knew what they sold me. I’m disgusted with this place and will never ever ever support them again. Not sure about the rest of their food, but I’m warning you now, don’t let them rip you off and take your money by selling you bad crabs.

Shoreline has really gone downhill. We ordered the baseball size crab cakes and they were all bread and tasted terrible. No taste at all. The hush puppies were terrible as well. Very dense and tasteless. Such a waste of money. We have been coming there for years. Not sure what has happened. Very disappointed and sad. We used to love this place.

I got double charge $2.98 for Ice Tea with no ice.The cost $1.49 ,but never says anything paid double for no ice..This is misleading...They been doing that for longtime

Let me start by saying that my girlfriend and I have visited the place on a regular occasion for our crabs and seafood needs.They have a great selection of raw seafood from different types of fish, scallops, shrimp, and alligator. The crabs used to be amazing.However, the quality of crabs and customer service has truly gotten bad. I have had the worst experience today out of almost 100 or more times of visiting.I ordered the fried rockfish platter. What I received was a broiled rockfish. I was also missing Broccoli for my order. When I called to let the store know about the error I received horrible customer service. I asked to speak with a manager and she told me she was the manager. I was not expecting such attitude and response from a manager. The manager questioned whether I ordered fried or broiled. I was also placed on hold while they talked about my order. Once the manager got back on the phone she insisted that the broccoli was put in the bag after telling her several times that it was not. I asked could I get my meal the correct way and she responded with a nonchalant attitude.This is not the first time that I was questioned about something I purchased.The service has truly diminished.My recommendations would be customer service training and the steamed shrimp.There are other amazing crab locations in Crofton and I have been truly turned off by this experience.
