Food was amazing! I don't usually enjoy a buffet but the omelette and carving stations were top notch
I have been here a couple of times and have good experiences. But this last visit was not good. The biggest gripe is how long we waited for our food. The waiter came back to our table at least 3x to let us know our food will be out shortly, only for it not be. If he came a forth time I would have asked for the bill. We watched people who were seated well after us, served their food. The food wasn't all that great as well. I.was so disappointed. It was a final birthday week dinner as well. I don't fault the waiter because he can only bring the food when it's ready but the dining experience was horrible in comparison to previous experiences. The restaurant wasn't busy as well.
Our server, Brontë, was excellent. She explained the menu, anticipated our needs, and was very professional.
Blackwall Barn and Lodge is one of my favorite places to bring family and friends. The food is always delicious and the service top notch!
Our server, in the outdoor seating area/bar was absolutely fantastic; very attentive and funny! Date of visit: 9/9/25!
Never have abad experience earning here. I arrived 15 minutes before my reservation and was seated immediately. Our waitress was Raea, and she was amazing. My bottomless mimosa never ran out. The food is good and tasty. You can't go wrong having brunch or any meal there.
Had a nice dinner with friends. Service was attentive and quick. The food came as expected and tasted delicious! The cocktails were also made well. The signature cocktails had a nice variety and nice spread of flavors. This is a solid spot. Would definitely visit again!
Took me mom for her 80th birthday. We were a party of five and we all enjoyed the food, service and ambiance. Soft live jazz playing. We will definitely return.
The brunch has gone down since I went in February this year. The food was terrible the grits were hard and dry the texture of corn meal. The home potatoes taste like they were left overnight everything was cold. I made reservations at 12:30p. The dude from housewives act like he had an attitude when I requested a booth talk about customer service. I don't ever have to go back to that whack as spot and also I should have known the food was trash when we pulled up and it wasn't a line to get in. Smh
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The food and service were excellent. I recommend round tables or seating one side of the rectangular tables on jazz night so no one's back is facing the bands and everyone can enjoy the band equally.

Very good food and service. Good atmosphere. Drinks, salads, and entrees and dessert were all good. Waitresses did a very good job
Our server James was great, the food was replenished almost immediately, and the beverages were great also. We will return.
The variety of food here was impressive—from breakfast classics to lunch favorites, everything was fresh and flavorful. I especially enjoyed the shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, etc.]. The staff kept everything well-stocked and the service was friendly and attentive. Definitely worth the visit if you're looking for a satisfying and relaxed brunch spot. I left full and happy!
This is one of my go to places for great food, vibes and service. I am never disappointed. Always recommend this spot.
