The Farmhouse in Gambrills is one of those rare places that feels like home the moment you walk in. We’ve taken my grandfather there twice after church on Sundays, and both times the food and service have been outstanding.

Our server, Demi, truly made our last visit special — she was attentive, friendly, and knew the menu inside and out. My grandfather was so impressed by her professionalism and kindness that he’s already asking when we’re going back!

The food is fresh, flavorful, and worth the drive every time. From hearty comfort dishes to beautifully plated entrees, everything tastes made with care. The Farmhouse has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes it the perfect place for family gatherings or a relaxed weekend meal.

We had the pleasure of working with Richard, the Best Customer Service I've encountered in a long time. He was very professional, attentive, fun, and easy to talk to. He provided amazing service. We had a fantastic experience at The Farmhouse! The food was absolutely wonderful, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. Our waiter, Roberto Carlos, was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. The steak salad was the highlight of the meal; the steak literally melted in your mouth, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Everything from the fresh ingredients to the cozy atmosphere made for an unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommend The Farmhouse and be sure to ask for Roberto Carlos when you go!

I was in town visiting family and my daughter just moved into town so she recommended we try this restaurant. My sister and I decided to invite her there. There were 6 in our party. The ambiance is very cool and it's very clean. We started with deviled eggs and Chesapeake eggs, which were a delicious appetizer. My Chesapeake pasta came with shrimp and crabs and was very good. Also ordered was a filet, a pizza, a salmon dish and a bison burger. The burger was served medium rare not medium as requested. My sister also said the fries were soggy. The filet came without a steak knife, which was odd. Otherwise the food was tasty. The issue was our waitress, who disappeared after bringing our drinks. Once we were finished she finally came to check on us. The place was not packed as there were empty tables near us. I chalked it up to the automatic 18% tip they advised would be charged. There was no incentive to go above and beyond. Ironically, I usually tip a minimum of 20%.
