It has been a minute since we have tried the Green Turtle. My memory of it was far better than the reality. We went here and tried the crab dip as an appitizer. It should be called cheese dip, due to the abundance of cheese and the limited amount of crab. The picture on the menu is bogus....not even close. Please don't bother if you're a sufferer lactose intolerance. The buffalo chicken sandwich was highly recommended by our waiter. (Marcus). When it came out, it was over cooked (hockey puck style). It was happily taken off the bill. I'm not sure if I will try this one again.

The new Greene Turtle is reopened in a new spot where Houlihan’s restaurant was located.Unfortunately,they still don’t have happy hour … yet! They do offer a 15% Military Discount.Kristen, the server, was very attentive. Met the District Manager, Miko, and he couldn’t have been more helpful.The Smith Island cake was very good as well as the Cheese Quesadilla, but it was so small!If you are planning to watch a game at this place … Yep! There are TVs everywhere! Can't argue with that!

Let me tell you about the manager named Marc Handler. First of all the service and atmosphere was on point. Then came some of the most perfect (seasoning - heaven) wings I've had FOREVER! Then the food arrives and I couldn't have enjoyed it more - perfection! So what more could complete this experience? Yep - Marc Handler.

1st time at GT. Food was ok, I had a cheeseburger and fries. Unintentional stop due to weather but enjoyed myself until the weather broke. Music is quite loud especially for you're having a conversation, but other than that...no real complaints. Good ppl, good food.

This review is specifically for Megan P., our server. She was a rockstar! We came in as a party of about 15 at 10pm on a Friday and she was spot on with all of our orders and extremely friendly and pleasant the whole time. She checked up on us just the right amount, too. The service here has always been great, but Megan certainly was exceptional.

Green Turtle in Gambrills is the one I went to. I loved how the manager kept walking around to make sure everyone was ok. He also cracked jokes with us. I thought that was awesome! I ordered water and it came in a pitcher. That was cool and funny to me! Then I ordered a raspberry lemonade but that wasn't that good. The real raspberries did nothing to heighten the flavor of the lemonade. My friend and I went mainly for the crab fries. So we ordered some old bay wings. They were so good just expensive . I want to say it was $15. Then, I had a burger with crab fries. The crab fries were good but could do with some more lump crab meat and sauce. I went in expecting a bit more despite what I have heard. Once you go in knowing that they are dive bar, you will be fine. Order a burger, fries and alcohol that you can eat while watching any game on their many televisions!
Green Turtle is usually pretty consistent in their service and quality of food. This location is no exception. Was seated quickly upon arrival. Server was attentive, with our meal arriving with little wait. Everything was good.

When they're good they're good, when they're not, they're not. That about says it all. I've had good servers who are attentive and my food comes out quick. I've had bad experiences where servers all said someone else was our server and we had to flag down a manager just to find a server. I think I've always had a good experience when sitting in the bar area while getting appetizers and beer. Food is good, prices are fair. Timeliness has been an issue when sitting at tables and with 2 small kids, that's why this isn't our first choice of places to go.

Restaurant is clean waiter was nice and friendly . The manager came and greet the table. After that it went down hill we order food ask them not to put old bay on our food and we ask to change out the cold slaw for an salad she said yes when we got our food it had old bay on it and when we got the bill it was jumped up 4 dollars more waiter never said anything about up charge. The menu said one price but we were charged a different price when we ask to speak to an manager he never came out.

Great service from Stephanie during a busy NFL playoffs game. Chicken Cheese Steak was good too. Drinks a little weak though.
