I have been to this place about 10 years ago by one of my golf members who was an army veteran. My back ground is culinary/hospitality industry and was so impressed by service and also food quality.. His family and my family celebrated our special occasions every year. Now, we are coming back here again on August 27th to celebrate his 68th wedding anniversary and their 90years birthday also. This is his wife's pick and I and he are excited for next week event.
I ate at Black Market Bistro on July 6; one of many times I have eaten there. I felt great at lunch and had fried oysters on a Caesar salad. Later that evening I felt unwell and was particularly unwell the following days...I have been ill ever since, unable to keep most food down. I called the restaurant a few days later, spoke to the chef, told him I was ill.... he said "I've sold hundreds of oysters...couldn't be from here" No empathy. No care. No follow up.
