We have a wonderful lunch here.
It's a great place to ride your bike to, just off of Rockcreek Trail.

A lovely restaurant setting in an old house next to the train tracks. The pork chop was amazing.

This place is very good and I recommend trying it. We might come back to try another dish.

For starters I like where this place is located in the actual atmosphere. It's a very rustic and romantic feeling. The hostess at the front was friendly and seated us quickly.

Our waitresses was friendly and generally efficient with the service.

We both at the shrimp and grits and liked it. My one suggestion for that plate is that the grits are extremely heavy- I assume a LOT of saturated fat- cream, butter, cheese.. and where I like the flavor, it was overwhelming. I eat shrimp and grits a lot and this one was good.

The desert was okay. There was a nice crisp to the creme brulee. The cream was a bit thicker than I would have liked.

One thing to notice is that this place does not serve liquor they only have beer and wine.

Overall this place was very good and we would return if you have not been here I would suggest it for a romantic evening out or to try for lunch.

Excellent food and professional service. I do not normally eat cooked fish, but I decided to try the trout. It was very well done, and I didn't get a single bone.

Just brilliant for a neighbourhood haunt.

Food wasn't great (we had Burgers, soup and salad) and the dessert was really disappointing. The server seemed annoyed and wasn't up to the task. The atmosphere is nice but that's about it.

Great food. I ordered from the specials of the day. Desert was excellent. We didn’t wait long before the food was served. The service was very good but not exceptional. Reservations are a must, especially for large groups.

Consistently 5 star food, service in a quaint local spot! Scallops on a bed of cauliflower puree w fresh roasted veggies was ?delicious and the crispy oysters over Caesar was stellar, we will be back, again and again ?

Cute little spot in Garrett Park. I appreciated the indoor and outdoor seating. We were only there for a quick bite so we didn't get to explore the specials, but they sounded great. The service was excellent and attentive.

The food is the main attraction at this restaurant. For beginners, try the corn coated fried oysters or the Addie's muscles, My two favorites. The soup of the day is always really really good, and with the bread provided at the table, these dishes make a full meal for someone not trying to gain weight. If it's a special occasion, the salmon is unbeatable.

A quaint bistro within a cottage style house within a community. Drive slow once you get off the main road and follow the GPS directions. There is a parking lot off to the left in addition designated parallel parking spots leading up to the front entrance.

The Black Market Bistro burger is a good place to start on the menu. It held up well as a takeout dinner. I noted on the chalkboard that they have brunch, so that will be next on my list.

Great place for great food in a very nice setting, with the added bonus of seeing and hearing the occasional freight or passenger train pass by within just 100 feet or so of the restaurant. I’ve been there many times and even have a favorite table!

Love to sit on the porch for dinner. Such a beautiful neighborhood. I always get the bbq shrimp and grits and we love the oysters dusted in cornmeal, too.
