Hiphop always save those I don't feel like cooking days lol. Great deals I can feed my family on a budget. Plus the food is always good a win win for me.

I ordered from DoorDash yesterday afternoon , I had the catfish nugget platter and the shrimp one. I don’t know what oil is used to fry this stuff if it was seed oil or something but I have the worst indigestion of my life. Yesterday it was bad heartburn and I had sulfur burps every 10 minutes all night so I didn’t eat anything else, just drank a lot of water. Now my stomach feels like it’s going to implode.

This place makes great food and has a nice variety. Can get busy around lunch so I recommend you call ahead for pick up. Lamb and rice is ok but the chicken or fish is where the magic happens here.

My family decided to try this Hip Hop Chicken for our Sunday fellowship. Big mistake! We placed an order for one tray of fried wings. I am so glad that we only ordered one. When we picked up the tray, it wasn't even hot. My mouth wasn't watering either. The wings were small, but golden brown. Needless to say, the wings were overcooked and dry. I couldn't even finish the 2 on my plate. I definitely WOULD NOT recommend this location. I am so glad that we had a variety of other meats at the fellowship. What a waste of money.

Tried to place an order for pick up and they refused to let me. This was crazy to me cause I can't understand how they can sell trays and make people wait as long as we had to. Then as is if wasn't already an terrible experience they refused to provide me a tray to put the wings in, I had to take it in the red boxes. They had no consideration for my experience which is just not my experience at other hip hops. My recommendation is go to other ones, it maybe out the way a bit but I wish I had done that.

Had a bad experience! Tried to place an order in advance for pick up and they refused to make the food until I got there. This was frustrating because every other hip hop I’ve been to never had an issue with this and I was on a time crunch. If you’re going to be an establishment that caters you need to be able to make the food in advance, it’s ridiculous in my opinion.

They gave me some dried up wings with 0 meat only bone that were very tiny as small as your pinky. I asked for one different wing and the cashier couldn’t give me the wing but had no issue throwing the entire combo away when I asked for my money back. Ignorance. They want to use “hip hop” to sell to black people but don’t care to treat them with any care with the food they serve or the customer service they provide. If it was their own people they were serving they wouldn’t do the same, it’s very blatantly racist. Got my money back. Grade: F. If you want some juicy chicken go to Kentucky Fried Chicken or Popeyes. El Gran Pollo if you have a slightly bigger budget.

The location is dangerous. They messed up on our order. The greens tasted horrible, I had to go home and correct them. The food is overly priced with certain items. It's a very small location. It's hard to get onto the main street, which is very dangerous, and the environment is very dirty.

Tried calling multiple times, somebody just picks the phone up and hangs up. Never order food from here before this would’ve been the first time but I’m good! Bad service equals Bad food ??‍♂️

Good food good service and good prices

Came here on a school trip many years back and thought about it ever since. On a trip last week, I came back to see if it was as good as I remembered. The chicken did not fail me. Take-out food was so yummy. The portions were very generous, one plate was enough for 2! Will be back next time I’m in town!
