Our favorite place to stop on our way to and fro Charleston. FW has the best oysters (both raw and fried), crab soup, and crabcakes with gorgeous river views. The hushpuppies are also my favorite. T was our wonderful server!

Food was absolutely amazing! The waitress seemed like she had better things to be doing with her time and very impersonal :(

We went here to celebrate a birthday. It is about a 45 minute drive. I had heard good things about the Fish Whistle so we were glad to have a chance to visit. Everything was just so-so. I would not make the drive again.

Very good jambalaya (but stiffed on the Andoullie) & crab cakes. If you get the jambalaya, make sure to have the cook spice it up. On the downside there were 2 flys hovering around our table. The water was not good. The waitress didn't know that the bread they served was sliced baguette. I had asked for a biscuit or roll and she said they just had bread so I figured it was Sunbeam or similar. Also, took well over 10 minutes for the waitress to get my card and the place was not busy at 1pm Sunday. She was very nice however. Maybe new.

If it’s crowded it’s very load and takes a while to get your food. Food is good but nothing special. Still not many places to eat on the Sassafras so choices are limited.

Food is always great as is the service all year. It’s nice to have crabs back at the Granary and the Fishwhistle. They were large and heavy.
