A hidden well run restaurant.I like the view and food.Civilized customers too.It's not the Chesapeake Inn.Overcrowded and loud.

I went to Signals this evening for my boyfriend's birthday and had a pretty terrible experience. Our server was not friendly, they didn't seem like they knew what was going on, they barely checked in on us, and then they gave me attitude when I dared to ask where my boyfriend's entree was after the rest of the table had their entrees for a good ten minutes. We ordered 3 appetizers and it took an hour to get all of them and they came out at very different times. It took absolutely forever to get anything we asked for. The manager or owner did come to apologize for the food taking so long, but no solution was offered, so it was too little too late. It was a very disappointing evening for my poor boyfriend. In summary , the food took way too long, the service was terrible, and I would not recommend coming here when there are other good restaurants in the area. The only redeeming quality was that the food wasn't bad.

We called asking if they would have the US OPEN FINALS on tv and they were very accommodating. Rockfish bites were 3 pieces of fish, not bites but small steaks kind of, and no cutlery, but the man coming to sing live after was great!! Lovely voice and amazing place and terrace.We should come back and try other food. They had 4 chef specials that keep changing through the week.Thank you!

2023 Update!: The new owners, Oasis Marine forced the restaurant owner out by demanding he serve 3 meals a day, 7 days a week which is a very poor business model for the area, so he retired. This restaurant is now a disaster. Went over for dinner one night and waited 45 mins just for drinks. Ordered the coconut shrimp which were one of our favorites and they came out burned. Salmon was also dry and the menu is very limited again. Avoid this place until the new owners can get it together.2022: I've been going here for years and while the food and service struggled during the pandemic, they are back on their game. The menu is more expansive with great options for local favorites and just good casual food. Recently they started offering build your own bowls and things like bourbon salmon which have been great. I would avoid the brisket though. Very stringy and chewy.The service has been great too. We usually sit on the deck which has great views and there's often entertainment. When we bring our dog, they bring out a bowl of water for him and are very accommodating. This is a great "boat bar" to eat good basic food outside, have some drinks and enjoy the atmosphere.
This was not a good experience. Service was very slow and kept forgetting items we put in/sent them to wrong tables. Food was average at best. Drink ordered before the food showed up came after the meal was finished. Would not recommend this place.

Beautiful view, that's the only good thing I can say. The drink was very weak, could tell the food was processed/frozen. The place was empty and our waitress was very slow. Definitely don't recommend this place.
