I recently ordered the fries, and the portion size for $9.75 is just not worth it. Although the food is pretty good, the place is too overpriced. If they had more reasonable servings and prices, they'd definitely get more customers.

Do not buy fries. It’s $11 for maybe 10 fries. Beyond a terrible rip off. Wings were fresh but seems as if they also skimp on the sauce. The two employees in front were nice there. But just incredible. I’ve been to Bon Chon before and this was not it. Also they really overcooked the boneless wings and the coleslaw was missing salt or something. Would maybe return for the regular wings only.

Honestly the best description I can use is just sad. Environment is akin to a hospital. No music or really any sounds besides distant music from the kitchen. Staff pretended we weren't even there. We asked to eat in, but still had to order the food to go and eat at the bar with plastic utensils and to go containers. Food took a while to come out and was cold, flavorless. We asked if there was gochujang or sauce we could add to the bibimbap, but the employee did not know what that was, even though it is on the menu. Employees were so absent that our cup of water spilled across the bar in front of the employee at the cash register and they didn't react. We eventually asked for napkins and continued to silently eat our sad, cold meal in the sterile, weird ambiance. Other people we also dining in and everyone was silent. The portion size and food quality was very much not worth the price. I usually love Bon Chon, but this location isn't it.

Fried chicken obviously is good, but with lack of care and service it sucks. This location does not pay attention to customers and also was stingy about basic needs (napkins, fork, plate). Do not dine in here. Also got 30 pc wings and only got 27 pieces. It is expensive so that is not okay. Honestly would not come back here again even though its pretty good.

My family has been a fan of Bonchon ever since we lived near the one in Rockville, but this one in Germantown seems to have smaller strips for the same price and the floor is always so slippery that I nearly fall over every time I go in to pick up food.
While I love the fried chicken I just don't think I'll be going to this location anymore unless it's through the drive thru.

Save your money and buy the full size fries for $7 instead of the $5.49. They will give you AN ENTIRE TUB of them instead of just a few. I just paid $25 for chicken and fries and feel like I got pretty badly ripped off bc all my 4yr old son wanted was fries and even he can eat all of these himself.
The staff is nice & nothing wrong with them. But they should really make people aware that the portion is different when you get the deal. That literally makes it not a deal! Also, when you buy chicken, fries aren't even an OPTION as a side. You HAVE to buy them separately. That $5.49 deal is nothing but an extra way to squeeze the customer out of a few bucks after they already chose to come support your business and buy overpriced chicken! Lol. The owner needs to not be so greedy. The lady who answered the phone told me it's just what they're told to do so that tells me it's the owner saying "skimp them" on purpose. Curious to see what the owner has for a response to this review because there really just isn't any sort of response that justifies selling $0.10 worth of potatoes for 6 extra dollars knowing damn well the customer is expecting a normal amount :/

The chicken absolutely sucked. Only good thing about it was the crunch, they barely put any sauce on there. But the wait time was fine, and so was the service! Chicken needs to be cooked thoroughly and seasoned, too bad it was none of that.

I love bonchon and their food, and I usually don't have issues with this location, aside from small variations in quality. However, I attempted to order again about a week ago, about an hour before they closed at 10pm on a friday night, which seemed perfectly reasonable to me. Come to find out after I had driven to the store that my order had been cancelled, and that their "kitchen was closed". On a friday night! I hope it was for a good reason, but I think I'll stick to the other locations from now on.
