I don't know what happened but this place really fell off hard. Not what it used to be. Go to Chicken Pocha nearby instead, it's much better.

This place is the worst. We waited 45 min for our food! Service is the worst. Spoke to the manager, he says sorry but giving unacceptable excuses like it was my responsibility to wait for that long. There was no warning that they were going to take that long to bring the food out. Didn't offer any sincere apology. Just sorry we were busy. WillNEVER COME BACK to this place. There are other good restaurants with better service out there. Don't come to this one.

I ordered their strips which I loved for years. Unfortunately, they changed the supplier for their strips and they are terrible. Sauces are still great but the one thing I loved on the menu is not the same so I am done with Bon-Chon. You had a good

Their chickens are good. However, at this location, you’ll always have to expect delay for your orders. This time, because I have previous experiences, I ordered 1 hour ago ahead of the pickup time. Guess what, I would still have to wait in the parking lot for 20 minutes after the set time. In other words, expect your takeout order to be prepared using 1 hour and 30 minutes.————————Okay, so I requested no scallions on japchae and steamed rice for bibimbap. This experience tells me that it took the staff longer time to make my customization order wrong. Please explain what’s the point of ordering online using your preferred bonchon ordering website?

When I arrived and walked in to place an order there was no one to greet customers or even check in with. I Waited 5 mins near the register and no one came out of the back where I heard them talking. For a Tuesday night I can’t imagine it being that busy. I ended up just walking out. Won’t be coming back to this location. Rockville and Kentlands Bon Chon have way better customer service.

Rude service at drive thru. The guy wouldn’t give us a sauce on the side for some reason. I pay for the meal and then immediately after he tells “oh by the way, it’s going to take 30 minutes”. We got understandably frustrated and he didn’t react at all. It felt very manipulative as he only told us after it was too late to go somewhere else. The whole experience was bizarre and just a fair warning to anyone going there to ask helps long it will take prior to ordering.

We went for dinner and wanted to eat in the restaurant (not take-out). We had to ring a bell on the counter because no one was around. A nice young man came out and asked us if we had a pickup order. We said no, but that we wanted to eat there. He seemed surprised. He said for us to have a seat anywhere and someone would be out to take our order. We sat down and waited for nearly 10-15 minutes and no one even came out of the kitchen to greet us. WE WALKED OUT. Obviously, this place doesn't want customers in their restaurant....they only want "to-go" orders. All 4-5 bar beer taps were all closed and/or not working. WE ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED. This place used to be good. I guess they will only stay in business for to-go orders. We loved their wings & drums, BUT WILL NOT BE BACK. We found another restaurant in Germantown that has great Korean wings and will go there.

We came in off peak time around 4.30pm. The restaurant was nice and quiet. Only 1 other dine in and a few pick ups. Customer service was great, our server was polite and attentive despite having to man the register as well. The chicken was crispy and delicious, we had both the soy garlic and the spicy. Also a side of crispy zucchini fries which were lovely. Their coleslaw was also amazing! Never had a savory coleslaw but that was addicting! Would definitely come back to this Bonchon!

First off I was a manger here at this location I’m a pregnant woman and they were trying to make me work 2-3 doubles a week knowing pregnant woman can not stand that long I was let go because they are all racist it’s all Spanish workers there and they play favoritism really bad.. they don’t use gloves to cook their food they touch peoples food with no gloves. I slipped 3 times here and had on non slip shoes how is that safe . The hot box for the chicken is broken, the freezer don’t keep things frozen, the sink doesn’t get hot so how was they washing their hands unless it was like me and went to the restroom. They wait 5-10 mins to cook your food so the wait time for people is extra long and they don’t care . These are some pointers you should think about before eating here at this location. Oh and they are now starting to temp food because a lady got super sick from raw chicken and his is my witness. They have terrible service before I got there they wouldn’t check on their tables nothing u have to tell the servers to check on their tables and it’s not a good look no one stays up front unless it’s the other black assistant manger who they also treat as if he is not a good worker I was told before getting hired he was a terrible worker and he doesn’t do he’s job he does better than any worker there and it shows I’m just not going to hold my tongue as he does wrong is wrong right is right hope this helps you all in the future

This place has the worst customer service!!! Owner should fire everyone working Friday night shift. Wait for 20 minutes for our order and nothing was shown! Asked the staff to check for the status of my order; he angrily threw down his phone and stormed into the kitchen. I was NOT ready to spend money on people that are just rude!!!! I don’t like Third World service! At this store, that is all they have!!!! Eat somewhere else!!!!

The rice was $10, boneless chicken wing (garlic spicy) was $5, but they also charge for the drinks and the sauce for total of $30. Who can explain this to me clearly?ARE YOU READY TO BE RIP OFF?! BE MY GUEST! I'm not going to come back here anymore also, NOT GOING to give them a tip for OVER CHARGE 10, 15, or 20% of a tip. It is 100% PURE CROOK!!>>>>BEWARE OF THE RESTAURANT IF YOU DO NOT TO BE RIP OFF AGAIN!<<<<<If you want more customers to come back again, DO NOT OVER CHARGE THE BILL or you WILL loose the customer FOR GOOD!

This dine-in restaurant has lost their way. The table service was abysmal. Food arrived luke-warm with no utensils or napkins. The server said he would bring these right away. After ten minutes I went to the carry-out counter and asked again. He said "Oh yeah, let me get that for you." It took several more minutes. Food was cold by then. Same issue with paying the bill. Consider this place "carry-out" only and plan to reheat your food when getting it home. Be careful not to slip on the slimy floor! There is a black trail of shoe wiping on the sidewalk at the entrance.
