Used to visit this place when it opened and I remember it being good. Today, the staff was rude (all) and the food wasn’t fresh. Guac was brown, tomatoes in pico taste spoiled, rice/beans hard, and chicken was either over cooked or dried out. This explain why the place was empty during lunch time. Do better Cafe Rio.

Horrible service. Food quality was terrible as well. They still got my order once again wrong. I won’t be coming back not ever.

For a fast casual outlet this one is pretty and and quite popular. The team members are engaging and professional and the customizable nature of the offerings combined with quality and flavor are worth a try. One can opt for healthy or not so much. The line can result in a wait but it usually moves quickly. I’ve visited mostly on weekends including when stopping at the nearby Wegmans for a grocery run. Plenty of convenient parking.

I place an order for 3 salads today
They were poorly prepared a lot of items were missing and the the tortilla didn’t have the cheese melted it’s so disappointing bc we were at work expecting to eat what we had order but the worse part when I call the person on the phone didn’t offer an apology or say sorry just told that I have 2 choices going back and get whatever was missing or have some credits on the app. Working in the food industry I know that’s not the way to handle mistakes

There was a baby cockroach crawling on the glass while I was offing my food. The worker saw me kill it and said nothing, as if that was normal.

Always a pleasure going to café Rio in Germantown. The staff is always pleasant and make the experience enjoyable. This place is my second kitchen.

Food was good and service was quick but the dining room was a disaster and the male cashier seemed bothered to do his job, the ladies making the food were friendly and very efficient. The food was overpriced but I feel was better quality than chipotle.

Cafe Rio has delicious food, but after today’s experience I don’t know if i will be returning. They had cockroaches crawling around i had completely lost my appetite when i saw that and we mentioned it to the manager who told me that they recently exterminated the place that that’s probably we saw cockroaches but still.. how do u let an establishment get to that point where u get roaches. That’s disgusting…..

Myself and my husband came here on our lunch break. We placed our order at 11am. It took them 40 minutes to give us our food. Prior to that the employees acted as if they didn’t want to serve me. Waste of time and money.

I just visited Cafe Rio before I head back to Charlotte I visit every time I come to Maryland with my daughter he gave me an order I didn't even ask for he refused to change it he said he was the manager that man was really really nasty I ordered a kid's meal for my grandson and she tells me that I get no meat on the taco what plates or planet are you coming from
