Don Pollo of Germantown

Chicken was cold and dry. The yuca was old and the cucumber salad not juicy. Failed to give us the rice and beans we ordered. While they offer to replace our food, there’s no time to take another trip when you have a hungry toddler.

Monday, I order over the phone, a Lomas Salado, and two Peruvian chicken.

When I get to my home, they give me a chicken Saltado on top of that the chicken was raw and there was no Peruvian chicken at all. I called back and they told me that there was a new person which is fine. We all made mistakes.

But when I came to claim my money or cook the order for me, they refused to pay me the money back or give me the food even that day knew they made a mistake. They also barely accepted that they forgot to put the Peruvian chicken.
Is amazing how these business is so greedy when you pay they give you an option to give tip which I have no problem but how am I going to give tip when they don’t even want to put forks inside of the to go bag but the food have price like a super fancy restaurant anyway good luck, but I will never come back to this place.

The lomo saltado 4 points. I liked the potatoes, good quantity. The meat was cut very thin so it felt dry. But the silver was dry, no juice at all, the flavor was just there, the rice was overcooked.

Rice is the other side of the coin. I give it 8 points. If the smoking was stronger and the presentation improved I would give it a 10 and it would be a better seafood chaufa around these parts. I loved the little pieces of fish crackling wooooowwww I boosted the dish to the sky.

Very good service, the food came out quickly. The place is clean, the bathroom is ok.

The chicha morada, from home and the fact that it is free refill, the best.

Would I return? For the chaufa and the chicha, of course.

And then don't say that I didn't tell you....!!!

The worst experience that I have ever had in a pollería/ the worst experience that I ever had in a Peru Restaurant. Those who serve are not courteous or friendly at all. They charge you an abusive tip for the “waiters” even though they don't even serve you anything. They forgot 1 order I made, after 20 minutes we had to go ask because it is not possible for a member of my family to go without eating. The waiter who was forcefully serving us practically blamed us because they had not served us the food because we did not have “common sense.” I regret coming here and ruining this beautiful day. If you're reading this, don't ever come. + the “chili” does NOT sting.

The last family order that i bought was not the same. The side of rice and beans was hard, like the food was not fully cooked. First time in years that this has happened to me. I'm not sure what it is, but I have been going here for years, and the staff that was there the last time is different from before. I'm not sure if this has affected the quality. Hope not.

This is one of the most delicious pollo a la brasa that I ever tried. The employees were very friendly and kind, they suggested me some of the house specials. I highly recommend this place.

Last night my dad's family came to eat and another family, it was 8:30 an overweight lady reluctantly served us and told us that she was going to close, she treated my dad very badly and went to the table and told us To all of us who had to leave the place, I hope some manager verifies what is happening and takes action on the matter. We will never return, Picca and Sardi are kind.

The chicken was very dry as many other times! The one and only time we complained, the manager was rude and instead of making things better, she gave us a fourth piece of chicken. We have been loyal customers for years, but we won't be coming back to the Germantown area. We gave her back the chicken, because the service she gave us was unprofessional and unsatisfactory! Sincerely, Unhappy customers!

Don Pollo of Germantown is one of the newest restaurant establishments in Germantown Maryland. The restaurant is clean and the layout is customer friendly. The prices are reasonable and you get large portions with your order. Try the sauces with your meat for additional flavors that will satisfy your taste buds and your appetite.

Today, the man who was at the checkout at around 2:35 pm, in a gesture of rage, served in a rude and despotic manner, I felt belittled by this man, who did not even look me in the face, I asked him a question and the only thing he answered was that he doesn't see what it is, what an aggressive individual in his way of acting, I restrained myself and preferred to leave the site, I had no lack of desire to teach how to respect a client, especially To the tourist, I do not recommend this place
