I bought a whole chicken with 3 sides on 12/7/25 cost me $29. I see someone else here saying they bought half chicken and 2 sides for $22 thats ridiculous. Anyway by Monday 12/9 my chicken leftover which i kept in the fridge had a bad smell... this was terrible I threw out a whole half chicken...

$22.53 for a half dark meat with two sides and a drink? Come on “Don pollo” that’s ridiculous. Sardi’s Chicken offers a lunch special for $18 for a half chicken with a fountain drink included. Make it a lunch special with the drink, change the price. That’s outrageous, $22.53 for a half chicken with two sides and a drink.

The food was incredibly amazing🤯 Their service is nice too. The atmosphere was cool and would definitely recommend coming here👍🏾 They did a terrific job and I would love to go back there😁

Worst Customer Services ever. The forgot the remainder of my order and moreover the cashier is disrespectful. Never coming back.

Went in an hour and a half before closing, Saturday September 28, 2025 at 8pm. The guy on duty came out with a mouth full of food, flickering out of his mouth while talking to me, chewing between sentences. Wouldn't let me fill my order because he said 'any people after me might not want what's left'. No foolin. So I had to purchase what he said or not have any thing to eat.
Needless to say, I didn't oblige his ultimatum and left hungry. Lost my appetite during the whole, chewing while speaking visitation.
Told the manager 2 days later and he was stoic juxtapose dry apologies. Never gonna go back there, that's for sure.
The story is the original owners broke up so you have poorly run independent troughs where you have to find those who handle their customers with consideration and aren't picking their noses or eating off the cutting board like on Main Street in Vienna Virginia, in your face, wiping their hands on their apron preparing to give you back your change.
Good luck. This one lost me. My experience isn't everyone's but I did experience this.

We got a Uber eats delivery and it was great but the only problem was the water we ordered wasn't even remotely cold. Tossed in straight from the pack and there where no napkins and utensils. We had planned to picnic but ended up walking all the way back home 😔

Despite that we will still order again because the chicken was amazing and juicy.

The yellow sauce was ok and I feel like they changed the recipe and just use mayonnaise now.

I’m currently in Don Pollo Germantown, one of the worst visit ever, I am currently with my son is 8:00pm. Employees are cleaning the lobby at 8pm this chemicals are strong I can’t eat here, my son is 2 years old this is extremely rude from your employees, food was okay but the service terrible. 0 stars. Not recommend to anyone to come here with family. Maybe only to go orders.

Food was great only thing is i got 3 of the small sauces for my meal I asked for 1more and dude said u didn't pay for 4 like fr ? It's always the English Spanish Americans who act like they own the place it was the chubby guy with the fade who works the register all the other employees are very friendly but thank to him I will never eat here again its the little things that count in life especially when you're not the owner and it doesn't come out.Of your pocket you just cost the business owner a regular i spend almost 140 a week here just to get patronize for for extra sauce

Nice place to dine in on a recent visit.
-Chicken was flavorful but a bit dry
-yucca fries was stale
-fried plantain was just ok
-corn was not good
- cucumber salad was good
-seafood fried lacked flavor
Likely won't be back. There are better choices.

I order EVERY Friday on Uber Eats for the last 2.5 years . Look it up . On my order I specify Please send Utensils .. 90% of the time you don't send any Utensils !! I've been told I'm an idiot for coming back, but it's simple for me to order from here. If you cant get my order correct this Friday with Utensils it will be my Last order. We love the food BUT can't eat without Utensils.

The food was not hot and the chicken was very dry. I honestly believe they gave me reheated chicken from the day before. I got it to go and didn’t realize until I had already left. Would definitely NOT recommend this place.

Amazing atmosphere and good food. Corn was cold and too salty. They should warn people that the corn is cold. Otherwise, a great location.

The worst, i put in an order for UberEats pick up screwed up my order the manager there is useless the word could be used. I wouldn’t recommend it at all. My order is always messed up and if i could a zero rate for the stars I would.

I always do take out. The chicken was good. It's moist and well seasoned. The sides are plenty and okay. Rice is tasty and plantain is right amount of sweeetness. Coleslaw is okay. Just needs something but not quite sure what. 😅

Tonight we order 2 chickens as a normal of our family dinner…….. but it’s something new or different it was awesome !!!!!!! very juice and flavorful
