I ordered Oxtail and the rice and beans smelled like it was left over from two days ago. I couldn't eat it, I had to toss it in the trash. Service was woeful.

Jamaica Mi Crazy was my go to for Thanksgiving dinner 2022. The food was amazing! My choices included ox tails, peas and rice, turkey, cabbage etc. The meat was succulent and seasoned to perfection, just the right level of spice. My table was gorgeous and my guests loved the meal.The service and attention to detail with my order was on point and the chef was definitely to be complimented. I've recommended the restaurant to friends in Frederick, Loudon County and Fairfax County. I am looking forward to the same service and outstanding food this year!

The Jamaican food here is pretty good. I got j*** chicken and greens. The j*** chicken was perfectly cooked and it tasted pretty good. The greens were solid. However they are kind of expensive for the portion size you get. $18 for this meal you see in the pic (minus the avocado which I provided). I pay around the same at my favorite Jamaican place in Silver Spring but I get nearly twice as much food and it’s spiced a bit better. 4 out of 5 stars for their food, 2 out of 5 for price and portion. If their food was the best Jamaican food I ever had at their price point or if they gave me more I would have rated them 4 stars. The food is definitely pretty good just pricey for the amount you get in comparison to other Jamaican restaurants in Montgomery County.

I was craving Jamaican and to be honest , there arent many good Jamaican spots in the area. The real good ones are in PG county. I read the reviews and the reviews were kind of mixed. I ordered online and took a chance. I ordered my usual Jamaican favorite cusine. Ox tail. I use this measure to see how good a Jamaican restaurant is. I ordered a beef patty, coco bread and ox tail. My rice was suppose to be plain white rice, not with beans. :(The beef patty tasted like a commercial brand. It was good, but it tasted like the kind you get from the grocery store. In fact it was the only decent item that I had ordered. The rice tasted like it had been sitting for a while.I ordered small portion of ox tail. I found it to be okay. I was given small pieces of oxtail, Im assuming that I got the bottom of the pan. I got maybe 4 pieces. Small pieces! The gravy was good but not rich and saucy as Im used too. The coco bread was ok, it didnt taste home made. It tasted like it came from a bag and it was reheated. The veggies were ok. The service was good, however they are expensive for what you get. I love supporting small businesses, but it didnt do it for me. I really wanted to love their ox tail, but its too expensive for the portions that you get, and it wasnt seasoned as I was expecting it to be. Ill make the drive to PG county from here on out.

First time going after reading good reviews. Saw the high prices on the menu and thought ok I’m sure the portions will reflect the price. Nope, the portions were the size of a child’s section plate and greens tasted like it came right out the can. I really wanted to love this place but I won’t be back.

Just got home with our food! A+ on the j*** chicken and B+ on the oxtail(needed a little more seasoning and sauce). Grateful to have some good island food nearby! We will definitely be back!

Food was very expensive. Looks really good though. Curry chicken was tasty but portions are very very small. J*** was also good. Oxtails portion gives you 4 oxtails that are super fatty and small. Plantains where fried in oil and super burnt and nasty. Wouldn't recommend those at all. Food only comes with rice and beans. No veggies or anything. Won't be returning.
