My favorite Mexican place in the area by far. Go there almost weekly. The nachos are awesome and the habanero salsa is just so so so good. Prices are very reasonable and staff there are great!

Good local chain. Order at register and they drop food to you, similar to Nandos. Vegetarian options are a little lackluster.Easy going atmosphere, outside seating if desired. The separate bar area is cool, easy to hop in for happy hour.I personally did not like the Hush puppies, they ended up not being my cup of tea. But I would recommend you try them, my friends liked them. Rest of the food was great. Definitely try the green sauce, it's not spicy and the flavor really pops.Clean restaurant, fast and friendly service, would recommend.Vegetarian options: For entre, they only had veggie tacos, guac on the veggie taco was extra, and the veggie assortment was lacking. Mostly mushrooms, not enough peppers, onions, tomatoes, etc...They do have cheese quesadillas tooGood selection of vegetarian apps though.

I went to eat on March 4 at night and they gave me some tacos full of jalapeños and I told a man named Daniel that the tacos had too many jalapeños and that we ordered before, the manager who said his name was Daniel didn't have it, he stayed with my nachos and he didn't give me my money back, the worst manager I have ever seen. I have a business and the client is always right. I have my money elsewhere. I am very sorry that they have a manager like this for the first and last time. That is the perfect recipe for losing clients. .

Visited La Gula at my son's request. We'd had terrible Mexican food at another restaurant days ago which left us very disappointed. La Gula did not disappoint! We both ordered tacos and there was ample meat, the flavors were fresh, well seasoned and delicious. I'll definitely be back.

I came back from Cancun and had really good tacos, I was craving tacos. My friend invited me to try this place out and said this place has really good tacos. I guess compared to other tacos places the Gaithersburg, Rockville and Germantown area it’s pretty good.4 starts because they slightly messed up on our order, ordered margarita drink but charged us for margarita shot so the bartender request we pay the difference( requested freshly made but used mixer) and the steak taco was tougher than most tacos places I’ve been to. Best taco in my opinion were the birria.
