Talk about a diamond in the rough. Once you get over the initial shock of how small the dining area is, you will feel as if you transported into a dinner party in Italy as the small feeling quickly becomes a cozy feeling as you are greeted like long lost relatives. I've gotten takeout many times because the food is delicious and each time I'm struck by all of the relaxed smiling faces of the diners clinking glasses of red wine as they nibble on their bruschetta appetizers and I leave wishing I had a reservation as well.

so fun!! we kinda if came on a whim and they luckily had room for 5 of us after giving a short minute call. such a fun environment, the restaurant definitely feels like a family affair, and everyone seemed very proud of it. they gave us some freebie bruschetta which was probably some of the best i've ever had all the pastas here were fresh and delicious. the pizza was also super delicious. the desserts, also delish, no surprise there. this is probably the best italian in the moco area.

This place is truly amazing. When you walk in, there's this sense of comfort like no other. Every staff member that interacted with my family was kind and welcoming! The food was absolutely extraordinary, from the rosemary bread to the pizzas, every single item tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with love. The espresso tasted so good, rich and flavorful. The desserts were on another level as well. Every item from the cannoli, to the chocolate cake felt as it was heaven on a plate. 10/10 stars, couldn't recommend this place more!

This place is a true gem. You wouldn't think this service and taste would be located in a strip mall but don't let it fool you, make a reservation. We couldn't figure out what to eat for lunch and it was getting late. My wife went to yelp to look for pizzas and saw the reviews for Mamma Lena and we decided to try it out. We arrived and it looked like they had a few open tables but we noticed the "reservations only" sign. We went in anyway and the guy told us it would be OK and sat us. As we were seated, the guy gave us the story of how his mom is the chef and their menu often changes so things are always fresh and new. You could tell he was super proud of the restaurant and was super friendly, it was almost scary. I ordered the carbonara and my wife ordered a pizza (I can't remember which). The carbonara came out like all those YouTube reaction videos of chefs praising when people make it authentically and without breaking the sauce. The pizza my wife ordered came out super fresh with an amazing crust. It was delicious. We were also treated to a complementary bruschetta since it was our first time dining there. The dessert menu looked amazing as well but we couldn't stuff ourselves anymore. Do yourself a favor and try this place out. Don't forget to make a reservation!

I had a very pleasant dinner in this gem of a family restaurant with my parents and my in-laws. Everything was so special. The food is of high quality. Mrs. Lena, in addition to being an authentic Neapolitan DOC, is an exceptional cook. The son Gianni is certainly a person with great professionalism and is very friendly. He has a sense of great sympathy and humor... like a true Neapolitan. I can't wait to come back!!

Run by the family in a cozy setting, been there a few times, food is freshly prepared by Mama and served by her son.The only comment at this time is that my Alla Bolognese pasta was lacking spicing.Appointments are recommended.

Very special restaurant ! Excellent food , great service, cozy atmosphere!!I always tell my friends who never been there before just pick anything they want from the menu and never wrong ! Big portions with great prices and quality authentic south Italian food!! Don't forget to try Mama Lena's tiramisu highly recommend!! I like to try new restaurants some just go once and never go back this restaurant it's the one I would go again and again!!
