Capital Heights,MD. I just had the worst experience I have ever had. I had a representative tell me her app not working was not her problem and I quote “ I don’t want to deal with you just take the sandwich” I did not come to get a free meal. I was trying to use my birthday coupon that expires tomorrow. The manager was not on duty. After my experience 3 customers walked out. No excuse for this bad behavior. I will speak with the manager as soon as possible. No one deserves this kind of treatment.

charging 20$ for half bowl should be scam...

Came in for lunch for the first time today, was a great environment , very clean lobby and friendly staffs. Manager helped me with the full menu and was very patient. Food was delicious and fresh ! 10/10 recommend.

This place is horrible. I placed ordered to pick up a steak bowl, a drink, and a red velvet cookie and they are out of steak and red velvet cookie and when I called the store to speak to manager they said he is not working. I tried calling Friday, Saturday , and even today and every time they say no manager is working. I just want my money back for the missing items. I will try again calling again tomorrow

If you don’t want an appetizer-sized bowl, don’t come here expecting a $12–$13 bowl to actually be worth it. They literally scoop the ingredients with these tiny coffee spoons, felt like highway robbery 🤣.

I asked for an extra scoop of rice and the worker gave me the nastiest look. The person in front of me had to ask for more chickpeas because her bowl was basically empty. SMH 🤦‍♀️

Oh, and the pita bread? It was extremely soggy.

If you go, don’t be shy ask for more so you get what you paid for. We love Mezeh, but paying almost $13 for a half empty bowl? No thanks. I’m done coming here. It’s not like we want a mountain of food, but seriously… come on.

This location has changed and not for the better. I used to go all the time with my husband multiple times a week but then have visited less often and now will be stopping completely and going elsewhere. They are always out of items and even when I order for us online I would get substitutions or incorrect items and even missing items. When I would say why are you out of things all the time they would tell us no money, we are out, manager doesn’t order or don’t have. I’m sorry but I would think that wouldn’t be the case so many times a week we go. I hope they improve back to how it used to be.

This has been their worst branch I’ve ordered from—three times in a row! I ordered online the Open Sesame Salad Bowl, and it was a complete disaster. The red cabbage slaw was rotten, the eggplant was missing, and the salad leaves were dry and wilted. The falafel was rock hard, like it had been sitting out for days. I wish I had checked the order before bringing it home—what a waste! I strongly recommend avoiding this place. Their food is stale.

4 stars for 4 reasons

1. Very similar to cava but slightly different. I would say this place takes the edge because of the egg plant side they have! So good! Pieces use to be bigger but now it’s cut into smaller pieces. The kabob chicken very flavorful really pulls in everything together.

2. Variety of many sides that you can get. Nice selection of hummus and sauces.

3. Price isn’t bad for what you get.

4. Quantity is a lot

Minus 1 stars for 2 reasons

1. The worker that helped us did not seem to like the job and all.

Asked for the cost of extra protein and wasn’t sure but said it wasn’t much.

It pains me to write this because I used to LOVE Mezeh, but in one time ordering from them since the last couple months, I can tell they have gone Corporate, and in a very bad way. They reduced their menu selection and CONSPICUOUSLY jacked up the price. On top of that, I was missing 2 (overpriced) items from the order upon delivery. I tried to call them up and speak directly to a manager, as I have before, to easily rectify the issue. Instead, now they handle their calls through A.I. and I have to email corporate HQ just to get my $11 back??? Sorry Mezeh, but we're not coming back until you talk to your bosses about this drastic deterioration in service and value. What a shame

I think this location might be closing. I go to many mezeh locations due to my work and came in on the weekend and this place was out of many items and the language barrier was very difficult at this location. I guess I’ll stick to the other locations instead.

It's not clear how much each extra protein costs. It's not obvoius that falafel is considered a protein worthy of extra charge. I was told if I did half chicken and half lamb I would not be charged for extra protein. I was charged extra, even after explaining what the employee who made my bowl told me. Several times the employees were unable to tell me how much each extra protein cost. There should be more transparency.
