Mi Rancho Restaurant

I've eaten here many times and everything was satisfactory. Today I ordered the grilled shrimp. Came with rice and beans and tortillas. I was very annoyed because the shells were left on the grilled shrimp. It was very hard to separate the shells from the meat. I dint like it when the tails are left on but I accept that they often are. But this was the whole shell. Not good. Will not order that dish again.

Fajitas sizzling and awesome, fresh tortillas, and amazing house made habanaro salsa available if you need an extra flavorful kick to your meal. Chips and Salsa cool and mild with thin/flakey chips. Great place for solo dining, or even large groups. Nice spacious dining room, all types of seating including bar or patio.
No entertainment or heavy themeing just good food and service reasonably priced.

Great place to sit down and eat. I will be there on a regular but it is a little pricey I feel but good place to be and food is good.

Ok so this probably my 4-5th time ordering here. This location feels and is drastically different than the silver spring location. My job frequently gets catering from here so I have come to know the owner. The silver spring location is vibrant and warm people look happy service is great portions are definitely bigger. Now the Germantown location everytime I go I I feel unwelcome the portions should be considered the “child’s menu”

I ordered fajitas today then beans were barely half full in the bowl. One green pepper lots of onions about 5 small strips of steak and a couple shrimp.

The food was cold. When I asked for chips and salsa the manager whispered were closed and employee apologized for his actions as he strolled by unbothered(imagine me getting home to find I paid $25 for a meal
that should have been $12 at best and cold and small portion and literally no one was in there. I really hate to give bad review but I will not return here. I think some people have gotten so comfortable being rude or unprofessional with people and service that customers will continue to patronize the business. I’m not you sold me a half meal with no regard to service that was cold and then blatantly we’re disrespectful in front of my face. So no more hard earned dollars going here 4th time is the charm. Unfortunate but I can’t continue to pay for poor service.

I gave the food the 2 star rating because their version of a fajita is so very different from any place I’ve ever had. Most restaurants will provide you with a generous helping of peppers and onions—not the one I received. It had ONE bell pepper ring. Just one. And it wasn’t cooked. There were maybe 3 or four onion strips. They were cooked. I had the mixed, so it was beef and chicken. Both were cooked and seasoned well. There was
also rice, refried beans, and a dlllop of guacamole and diced tomato over lettuce). I don’t eat those, so no worries about that. The rice was good, and I like
refried beans, but haven’t eaten them. The food wasn’t bad—just atypical and not what I expected.

Excellent food and service! Don't leave without trying the carne asada!

Food is awful and not as good as another Mexican restaurant in Rio and expensive. Not worthy it. Some shrimps are very salty and some shrimps are tasteless and the steak also taste not fresh. Never go back.

This was my first time eating at this restaurant it was terrible my tamales were so dry and tasted terrible I didn't finish the salsa looks and tasted like store brought and so salty chips weren't as good as store brought you should advice your chief to go up to senor tequilas to learn what Mexican food looks and tasted like
