Mr. K's Cafe Germantown

I and from the Prince George’s County area where we have a carry-out on every corner. Since moving to the Rockville area, I haven’t been able to get that experience until I visited this place. The food was great and staff was so sweet. I accidentally left my keys behind and they kept them waiting on me. I can’t wait to come back!

Great food amazing flavors

The only reason Im even giving 2 stars is because the food is great but other then that the service is horrible they kept looking at me weird when I went it and when I got my food and left the old lady kept looking at me super weird she was not even trying to hide it and also the food is overpriced 2 plates for me and my dad was almost 40$ unbelievabl this place is horrible no wonder it was empty inside.

While the food quality may be good, time management is terrible. On more than one occasion, whether it was a pick-up order or delivery, I had to wait 3 hours or more for two items. Tonight was no exception it took 4 hours to receive my order. I was told 3 different reasons as to why my order hadn't been delivered and was completely ignored when I asked for a refund. It's s unacceptable and by the time the food arrived it was cold and we were no longer hungry. I will never come back to Mr.K's I wish them the best and hope they figure this all out soon.

This place is one of the best Chinese/Vietnamese/Thai food place I ever had, the owner is down to earth,
Made sure I was comfortable with my seat and took care of my sister and I. Portions were generous, prices are reasonable, and owners are great human beings. I absolutely recommend this place and I will be back again!!

Food seemed old and consistency of the food was mushy.

We have ordered dinner last night and when we picked it up instead of dinner we received lunch orders. I had guests in the house and it wasn't enough food to serve. I'm not sure if this is a change to portion size, but prices were just high for that amount of food.

For the last month, I've been getting the same 2 dishes. One order is Cheesesteak Eggroll and 6 fried chicken wings (it's really 12 because they do the drum and flat)
It's always hot and fresh. I've ordered for delivery 4 times, and I've ordered to pick it up 5 times. The delivery people are friendly and respectful. It's definitely worth the 20%. Inside the restaurant, it's a little too dark. The place has been there for more than a decade, and the interior shows that. It could use a little more TLC. Calling in is a little troublesome, but I also think about how the one nice lady does all the work in the front of the store. Have a little patient on the phone because that food is great! Enjoy!
