Went yesterday for lunch with a colleague. He had been there before and raved about it. I hadn't been there but agreed. Very good service. Server knew the dishes. We started with the Som Tam (papaya salad), which was excellent. For the main dish, I got the drunken noodles with chicken, which came out so temperature hot (but not overcooked) that I had to let it rest a little before eating it, which is a good thing since I like my food really hot vs. just warm. He got the Basil Pork Crisp, which I tried and was just delish! I wish I had gotten it although mine was very good as well. Nice sized portions (I had enough for another meal). Highly recommend.
Rice was weird. Typically great food!
Food was not good or worth the money!
Asked for extra peanuts on papaya salad and they gave you a couple more and charged you extra $1. Absolutely ridiculous. Food is okay. Not as good as before, probably have a new chef.
Our first time trying this place was really good from the start to finish. I have gotten the drunken noodles and my husband gotten the soup; we enjoy every bite of it. Although we had expected the drinks to be more detailed instead it was a can of soda. This place is pricey, however the food is very good . I recommend this place for anyone who loves Thai cuisine or spicy food as well.
This small restaurant was a great find. We were there when they opened. The service was very good as was the food.

I've been going here for years. I love this place. Too bad I live so far away. Some of the best Thai food I've ever eaten. I always get the basil duck.

I had a horrible experience at this restaurant. My friends and I arrived well before closing time, only to have the cashier rudely yell at us that the kitchen was closed—30 minutes before the restaurant was supposed to close! To make matters worse, they immediately proceeded to take another party’s order right in front of us without any explanation. The lack of professionalism and common courtesy was shocking. Needless to say, we won’t be returning, and I would not recommend this place to anyone who values good customer service.

First time trying this place- delicious food, attentive service and reasonable prices. We got the drunken noodles, pad thai, and basil fried rice all w/ chicken. Delicious!

Delicious! I live 2 hours from Germantown but would gladly drive those 2 hours for their chicken sabai noodles and Pad Thai.

I have been ordering them for years; their quality has been consistent and delicious. worth the money. I learned that their chef prior to Covid moved to where I currently live; the restaurant is called Tsunami, and it is Amazing, and yet, I am often on my way home from DC, and I tend to order from Sabai. However, after last night’s order I noticed the last time that the quality was a bit shaky. of chive dumplings (they were pretty but not good and sauce that usually is the icing was terrible) and pineapple fried rice $13.95 with shrimp +6 (got 6 shrimp, 3 small cashew halves, four pineapple chunks and a ton of semi crunchy rice), I will be ordering from Tsunami. The restaurant isn’t as pretty as before Covid ( not cozy); there is no reason for me to take the trouble to get off the highway and spend $35 on Sabai any longer. It was great while it lasted?.

The food used to be good but now its terrible, with no flavor. The customer service is so bad and very unprofessional. Definitely go get Thai food from a more worth it place, because youll probably be disappointed here.
