Peter catered my wedding events last year and did an exceptional job. He is the favorite in our community for a reason and provides the best and morst reliable Bangladeshi food in the region. He cares deeply about the quality of your event and oversees the catering personally. Guests praised the food to us for weeks afterward! I was actually sad we didn’t get to eat more of it at our wedding reception because we were so busy though he personally made plates to set aside for us. Luckily we had him cater both the mehndi and reception so we got to try so many things from the menu! Amazing value as well.

I eat out a lot and I am travelling all the way from Ellicott City to enjoy some real authentic Bengali food.

You have to know what to try. Ask Peter or his wife for suggestions..... Don't be scared to try out something new... popular foods are not always the best :)

Peter and all of the staff are so friendly and kind. The food is also incredible- everything I’ve tried (the bengal fish curry, the shrimp malai, and the dal makhni) has been amazing, comforting, and delicious with well-balanced spices. My south Asian boyfriend also says it’s the only place in the US he’s found that’s perfected kacchi biriyani. Always a great experience and a must-try in MD!

Today I was in the area … I wanted something different and I went to Spice Grill in Germantown Maryland. I had the lunch buffet and I ate curry chicken rice and fresh cut vegetables. The food was very good very tender and tasty. Just enough spice yet not spicy. I enjoyed my lunch the owner was very attentive and made me feel special. A really nice experience.

Owner asked me where I was from as I was getting food from the buffet. I told him where I'm from and he told me that this is America and you shouldn't wear sandals to a restaurant, as Americans don't like it. He had a very bad energy about him. Then an Indian couple walked in wearing sandals, he didn't say anything to them. They even stuck their hand in the buffet and took some onion bhajis without getting told off. Owner is a racist and the food was below average. Avoid.

I stumbled on this place and was very happy that I did. My daughter and I had the lunch buffet. Everything was absolutely delicious. The goat curry, butter chicken, bass curry, and tandoori chicken were so tasty. Our waitress/host was so courteous and helpful. Would surely recommend this place to anyone looking for good eats.

Chicken Korma is great. Slight wait time may be a turn off for some, but food is well worth it!

May be the best Bangladeshi food in the DMV. Biriyani, Tehari, Haleem, Kabab, Fish/Chicken /beef curry are great. Very good Iftar selection as well.
