Tropical Smoothie Cafe

The smoothies were good but their process for app orders needs improvement. They have a clearly marked shelving unit for app orders yet they don’t use it. They just pile it up behind the counter where the customer can’t get to it. They stated they do this when it’s busy but there were only a couple of customers in the store.

Went out with friends, we were there before a game and it toke 1 hour for them to make our food. Afterward a lot of my teammates had stomach cramps.

I love the food and smoothies from this place, but they frequently mess up orders and forget to include the food and I just get the smoothie.😒

Stopped in on my way from PA to NC for a hummus veggie wrap. Workers were okay at their job but not very friendly or welcoming. I waited for at least 5-10 mins before anyone even spoke to us. This specific location seems to be in a nice part of town so I did expect better service and conditions. I decided to eat my food in the store after being on the road for the last 5+ hours. It was 89 degrees in the store, hotter than what it was outside. I asked for a cup of tap water and they charged me .53 cents for it which I thought was outrageous considering how hot it was in the store and I already purchased 2 wraps. Overall I wasn’t impressed. I regularly eat at tropical smoothies across the east coast but I likely won’t be back to this location. Nickel and diming is not how you keep loyal customers esp when it’s hot out and you already aren’t maintaining a decent temperature in the store

very unprofessional, what seemed to be the Manager came off very rude for no exact reason. was trying to pick up my order and manager didn't hand it to me. I ask why and he gives me attitude and gets mad when i kept asking for my order, then he decides to try to threaten to call the cops 🤦‍♂️

Tell me why I ordered online and not only is it not ready in time, I’m just standing here being ignored…to be fair the are working, but I am am the only one in line and ordered online so I could pick up quickly. Been waiting 5 minutes now.

Delicious smoothies

Worst experience ever. I ordered a pick up order on Grubhub and when I was there to pick up my food. They refused to give me my food saying I need to confirm pick up. I did not see an option from to confirm they said the driver need to pick it up. After explaining to multiple people there who work there that I order pick up not delivery, I FINALLY got my food. The rude attitude makes me sick and ruined my lunch.

To say disappointed to the max is an understatement , cashier has no business taken care of customers, bad attitude , I am one that seldom complaint about prices , ( hence the reason why I go and shop, I know what happened behind the scenes and the cost of everything) but to order a shake, order a bottle of water, and then ask for ice for my water thermos and getting charged for the ice is ridiculous . Last time I will ever visit the Germantown store ! :(

I ordered pickup on their app, and when I arrived the staff said they gave it to a doordash driver by mistake. They made no offer to remake my order to fix their mistake. After politely pointing out that they were at fault and showing the receipt, she said she'll redo the order.
I waited 30 minutes and watched as the staff served 6 people after me. I went up and asked how long its going to take, she said she forgot and STILL did not fulfill my order. I waited another 20 minutes before asking and she finally did it, but only gave me the smoothie and not the food. I had to ask again, and they clearly forgot my food order as well. A full hour of this complete non-sense.
The entire staff was absolutely horrible. The short latina lady and the woman with glasses and purple hair gave my order to a doordash driver, intentionally ignored me, forgot to remake it, and took ONE FULL HOUR to correct their mistake. They did not apologize either. Terrible service

I have visited this location multiple times and each time I am blessed to be greeted with kindness and absolutely delicious food. 👍🏾😁 Today was no different. I am grateful for the awesome gentleman who shared the same favorite smoothie as me!!! The banana chia smoothie! 🍌😋 Thanks for your kindness 🙏🏾 See you guys again soon! 😉🫡
