Yuraku Japanese Restaurant - Germantown, MD

I will NEVER eat here again. This is a self-serve buffet that was decent enough. I left a tip as usual but today I had the pleasure of being admonished by the staff that I did not leave a large enough tip. They actually stopped me and my guests as we were leaving. I had to explain to them that they were being rude and then they waived their hand in my face. Hahahaha the nerve! I hope they go out of business...they won't get anymore of mine. The owners are ultimately at fault.

I found the food and experience to be just okay. The beef was probably the best thing I tasted from what my family ordered. The ambiance was quite busy and tight which was okay. Long wait for food.

The food was nice and fresh with a great variety I recommend the shrimp tempura. Service and staff where fantastic and the atmosphere was nice and clean

Came in on a recommendation from a friend. Sushi was very good (spicy tuna and spider roll). Service was attentive and prices reasonable - $50 for two specialty rolls and a basic roll plus edamame. Decent beer selection. Sushi menu has a lot of options. Place is a little dated in a strip mall, but sometimes those are the best secret spots.

Most delicious and fresh sushi ? I've ever had! I also got a soup and I loved it! So flavourful! They also have carry out, and a small but coze dining area where you are served happily by their staff dressed in traditional Japanese clothes. The sushi bar is nice for those who want to see the art of sushi making in action ? . I can't wait to go back!

I walked in on a Sunday lunch hour and they had an all you can eat buffet going on. I felt like I struck gold! They had a lot of choices in the buffet and every single sushi item I got was delicious. Even my 5 year old son loved it! Our server was very friendly, even joking with my kid and always attentive. I'll def be back to experience the buffet again!

Spent a lot more than I wish we would have, and it was crowded, loud… probably because the food was excellent and the service was quite good.
