Chicken strips for kids was soaked in oil , with weird smell. Manchurian was good , Paaye was just okay , naans were the only good thing 🤮

We showed up at Zaiqa in Gaithersburg with a party of 11 after calling ahead, only to be told upon arrival that the chef had a catering order and told the front desk either they should cook the food or we should be asked to leave. And that’s exactly what happened — we were told to leave.
I’ve never experienced such unprofessional and disrespectful customer service. If a restaurant cannot honor a reservation or accommodate guests they confirmed, they should say so upfront instead of wasting people’s time and embarrassing them at the door.
I will not be recommending this place to anyone. Truly a horrible way to treat customers.

This is the third time the gentleman was so rude, obnoxious and unprofessional. The first two times I thought he might be having a bad day. Upon entering the restaurant we noticed that he was unhappy and inconvenienced to have us. We ordered and sat down. He did not offer any water. We were the only table in the restaurant. Food took a lot longer. He brought half of our order and then we had to wait another 15 min for the rest of the food. Once we received all the items, bread was missing. You need bread to eat chicken karahi and paya. We asked him again. Finally the bread was served. He never came back to check if the food was OK or if we needed anything else. His service was unbelievably unprofessional, his demeanor was extremely rude and after we paid I realized that he charged us 18% gratuity without even giving us the option. We were a table of only three. I am extremely dissatisfied and will never go back to this restaurant. I will make sure to share my horrible experience with my friends and sphere of influence.

Chicken tikki marsala is absolutely AMAZING! Full of flavor, and quickly becoming one of our favorite dishes. The naan bread is fantastic, warm,fluffy,airy, baked to perfection. We always get extra! The portions are quite large, as 1 order is suitable for my wife and I. We've always done take out, but the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and I always see people seated. Service is fast and friendly, they are definitely starting to recognize me, how often we order. Prices are very fair, especially for the home-cooked style meal you get everytime. We went from never trying authentic Indian food,to truly loving it.

This was the worst meal I've bought out in years. The wings were overcooked to a crazy degree and they did it in attempt to cover up that it was clearly very old and stringy chicken, not fresh by look/taste/smell
I've never been served chicken that gross. This is not a taste preference issue, it was not passable as restaurant food. Thing is, they would not have served this to someone they look in the eyes, they just tried to get away with it cause it was a takeout order, and that's a dirty way to move
The egg fried rice was just 2 eggs mixed with some rice for $11, nothing else. The naan was subpar and kind of rubbery. Overall this felt like a scam of a meal. Could never recommend this spot to anyone. Took pics of the wings but will spare y'all the nausea

⭐️ 1 Star — Absolutely Terrible Experience We’ve been coming to Zaiqa BBQ & Karahi for over 4 years, and it’s sad to see how far this place has fallen. Ordered a simple chickpea side — instead got some random yogurt mix that wasn’t even close. When we pointed it out (with the receipt clearly showing what we ordered), they denied it and refused to refund or fix their mistake. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. This place used to have pride in their food and service — now it’s nothing but excuses and attitude. Stay far away — Zaiqa has gone straight downhill.
