Service, presentation, and food were all incredible. Our waiter's food and wine selections were spot on and perfect.
Overall, this was a very nice meal. The portions were sizable, and the food was very well cooked and seasoned. The servers were attentive and got our orders correctly. It's a little overpriced for Glen Burnie, but I would definitely come back.
Adonis was a great server. Food was well prepared and delicious. Good value for the money.
Our waiter Adonis was perfection. My husband had the Caesar and the grilled whole Branzino and I had the Carpaccio di manzo and gnocchi with gorgonzola. All courses and cocktails were fabulous. As I told Nick, the owner last night-we don't know if we could find better food even in New York or DC and we feel so lucky that it's 10 minutes from out house! Also shout out to Viktor who prepares and delivers the food to the table-He's amazing!
The food and wine at this hidden gem always exceed expectations. The physical space is modest and does not lead you to expect the high end cuisine and creative culinary skill exemplified in the specials menu and overall. The value is appropriate for the high quality ingredients in a less pricey physical space than a marquis destination dining restaurant would usually have, which I think is why this is such a hidden treasure. The service is attentive, knowledgable and friendly. The environment is welcoming and casual while offering true fine dining fare. Even the snobbiest wine aficionados will find great bottles and values on this list. Selfishly I hope enough people find and value this place to ensure that it stays vibrant and successful, but not so many that it makes it too hard to get in. It is worth the trip from anywhere. I do wish the entrees came with pasta - even plain pasta - instead of potatoes, but we typically just order a pasta entree for the table to share if we want a starch. I am not a potato fan and would rather just have the protein and the vegetables.
We've eaten here a number of times and last night was no exception. We started with delicious cocktails - a great margarita for me and vodka cranberry for husband. Appetizers were the delicious mozzarella en carrozza with anchovy sauce. Not always listed on the menu but the chef made it for us. And the escargot. I had the double cut lamb chops rolled in pistachio nuts served with a sauce, mashed potatoes and zucchini. Yummy. Husband had a penne pasta dish with sausage peppers onion tomatoes. Dessert was pineapple upside down cake with cappuccino. It was all delicious, service was great.
Arturo's always provides the best Italian food anywhere, and exceptional service. Three out of our party of six ordered the scallop special and we all agreed that it was so unbelievably good it had to come from another planet. The other choices were also superb. The owner came to our table and recommended a new wine from Italy he had just gotten in that was reasonably priced, and everyone was amazed how good it was. If you are interested in fine Italian food and wine you simply cannot do better anywhere else without a trip to Italy.
Wes provided us great service throughout the evening as it was a birthday celebration for my girlfriend. Veal chop that he suggested was outstanding!
This is hands down the best Italian restaurant in Maryland. I might go as far as to say this is the best Italian restaurant in the states but I have not tried them all yet. After 10 days in Italy last year this is the only Italian restaurant that brings back that feeling for me. Great service, high quality house made everything, and a wonderful ambiance. Glen Burnie's best kept secret.
Arturo's continues to provide outstanding food and service. Nick and his staff work hard to make sure you enjoy the experience. This is easily the best restaurant in Anne Arundel county, and it rivals even the finest eateries in Baltimore City. From the house-made pasta to the wine list, Arturo's is the gold standard for all others to emulate.

My wife and I visited with a friend of ours and everything we has was exceptional! We all ordered from the Specials Menu. which changes every week. We started by sharing the two listed Appetizers, and both were exceptional - the Smoked Salmon Mousse was absolutely incredible! The two ladies ordered the TONNO AFFUMOCATO-Pan Seared Tuna Filet, which they both agreed was so good it must have come from some another world, and I had the GNOCCHI CON SALSICCIA - Home made Gnocchi sauteed with Italian Sausage and Mushrooms,l which was equally as good. Our wine was recommended by the owner, a Barola from the a vineyard in Italy. which he had personally visited, and was an excellent match with our entrees. Throughout the evening the service was excellent and very friendly, augmented by several visits to our table to see how the meal was going. They owner and entire staff make it clear throughout the evening they wanted to assure everything was perfect for our visit! My wife and I have been to Arturo's with friends and family over the years, and everyone has agreed that they serve the best Italian food possible, and do it with style and grace.
Our waitress was not trained, not knowledgeable but friendly. Our dinner came out 80 minutes from the time we arrived and it was not hot, in addition to being served with the salad and appetizers. We never had entrees and appetizers all arrive together in that late of a time period. All delish but train your staff please! We will return as the hospitality and quality is first rate!! This is a go to place for us, and we support dedicated restaurants in our community.
A truly exceptional meal!!! We stumbled across this location and visited on a whim. Our family was fortunate to be seated even though we didn’t have reservations. And I can’t speak highly enough of our server and bartender Anthony. From making specialty drinks for us, to recommending some off menu modifications such as the three pasta sampler, and accommodating main dish modifications.
The food was some of the best in Maryland, and I frequent man, downtown Baltimore and Harbor East fine dining establishments.
We will be returning, many times over. 10 out of 10 across the board!

I had the Tuscany ribeye which was delicious and large, 20 oz. My wife had the porkchop which she enjoyed very much. Our drinks were great as well. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated top notch by the staff. I recommend this great restaurant to all! My only regret is that having lived less than a mile from the restaurant for over 30 years, we had never been. We'll be back.
There is absolutely no curb appeal to Arturo's, but once inside, it is a different story. The space is comfortable. Tables have nice spacing. You do not feel like you are dining with nearby patrons. Don't know if our server/kitchen was having an off night, but the dishes our party of 3 ordered took significantly more time to arrive than those around us (a couple of tables that were seated after us received their appetizers and entrees before us). The portions are generous, which is good because the prices for a number of options are above average. The food was fine, but not memorable. I ordered the shrimp risotto. It was pricey (>$45), and it was loaded with shrimp, but lacked seasoning. I disliked the special artichoke appetizer. My family members thought their dishes were okay (grilled calamari, crab pasta, and veal chop), but again, we hoped for better. The hit of the night was my husband's salad.
