Won't even let your music play on the touch tunes. They prioritize people with more money instead of people who paid 12+ dollars on music to listen to what they want. I spent over 3 hours here and never heard any of the music I spent money on. Place is trash.

Fun local bar in the heart of Ferndale. The once a month karaoke on Tuesdays with DJ 2Ma is a can't miss experience.

Wouldn’t go here if they paid and provided the food. Extremely, disgustingly rude service from the bartender. Ordered food only because my girl wanted to sing karaoke and the wings were inedible, then the manager cracked jokes on me saying I wanted a fresh hot meal when I never even touched a wing other then one bite. Absolutely disgusting and horrible, already called the health department

Nice little neighborhood bar that serves bar food, pizza, pretzels, mozzarella sticks etc..The barmaids are super friendly, drinks are cheap, there are a couple pool tables, a dartboard and a jukebox and several outside areas to enjoy in nice weather..

Great neighborhood dive. Locals in the bottom bar.. youngin's upstairs. Best of both worlds.

We have lived about 5 miles from Ferndale Tavern for more than 32 years, and this was our first time in. What a great local neighborhood bar! We came in around midnight after doing karaoke at another location, so we did not have food. The drinks are reasonably priced and tasty. The service (thanks, Lauren!) was superb, and the atmosphere was cozy and comfy. Just what you'd expect from a local bar. Our only regret? Not discovering it sooner. We will be back!

Extremely let down constantly by this place. Older blonde woman with glasses consistently gives poor service. She’s also apparently a partial owner. Multiple bars within the building, opened a tab downstairs and went to play pool upstairs. Apparently the downstairs bar closes sooner, and my tab was opened downstairs with the before mentioned woman. She locked my debit card in their safe without any effort to find me. I did not leave the grounds of the establishment throughout the night. Upon trying to close my tab immediately after the bouncer announced last call, the door downstairs was locked and the bartender was sitting in the upstairs bar and refused to return my property with a comment about “not knowing where I was”. Zero effort. Bartending staff made jokes at me the whole time I was respectfully trying to get my property. Extremely poor taste left in my mouth especially after cash tipping generously to staff. HAD TO PHONE POLICE in an attempt to recover my debit card. Gotta reschedule my whole day tomorrow because I have to return to this place upon their opening after being blatantly disrespected because it was too much effort to check amongst the 10 people attending the bar upon their closing of a portion of their establishment.TLDR: staff here withheld my debit card after zero attempt to locate me upon shutting down obscure part of their establishment. Disgusting service with unwarranted negative attitude with zero regard for their patrons.

The bartender in the back sucks. She called last call took a few minutes to come over and didn’t give the opportunity to order a last drink. Then proceeded to give shots to other people 10 minutes later. Whatever. What can you expect from a local bar in Ferndale?
