This was my first and last time getting food at 5th Ave Breakfast and Lunch. First, I was charged (.75 ) more than price online for two separate items. They do not have menus and were told prices are online. I told them that prices are inaccurate and not the same when order placed. The home fries portion is small- was told owner only wants them to give “one scoop” which seems equivalent to 1/4 cup size. I asked for extra onion which was equivalent to one ring of onion. They charge extra for jelly (.25) which they put on bread! Also if you select another type of bread, it is $1.00 more. I was okay with that. The omelette was skimpy and minimal ingredients used. Overall, the quality, quantity and being overcharged for items justified my negative review. I do not recommend and will not return nor recommend. The price may be cheaper but you get what you pay for. Check your receipt and compare online price!

Just started going here every morning with my daughter while driving her to school, they are very friendly, have great service and prepare the food quickly even when they're really busy. Highly recommend this place great breakfast sandwiches and I'm sure the other food is just as good. Will definitely continue hitting them up every morning for breakfast.

Most of the time the food is good. I feel like some days I get skimped on food. Paid 9 dollars for French toast and it was soooo tiny.

The good: Ronda!!!!! DINNER is served. The chicken fried steak with sawmill gravy is on point! They still make a solid breakfast sandwiches highly recommend the ham egg and cheese. The Bad: The sausage gravy has gone down. The Ugly: Inconsistencies in having a complete menu, and a poor breakfast burrito. How could a simple scrapple, egg, and cheese sandwich be terrible? As pictured, the scrapple was burnt, the cheese wouldn't even melt, and that 1 egg was just sad. I also ordered grits which were oily and flavorless. I was not a fan of the atmosphere at all mostly due to the strong smell of cigarette smoke. It's as if the smoking is happening in the building. Maybe I had a one off experience based on all of the good reviews but unfortunately I won't be going back.

Stumbled upon this place when I was in the area and had breakfast. Good coffee. Great little neighborhood diner and I will definitely come back. They plan to start serving dinner on November 29, 2023 and if their dinner is as good as their breakfast,it will be great.

My husband wanted to try this place this morning. It was okay. We each had home fries, one with cheese (American), and breakfast sandwiches. He had bacon, egg, and cheese, I had sausage, egg, and cheese. The home fries were slightly undercooked, the potatoes still had a little of that crunch to them, but they were seasoned pretty well. The sandwich wasn't the worst I'd ever had, but it wasn't the best either. It was just meh. Small piece of sausage and an egg and a lot of bread. Would I eat here again... maybe, but I'd try something else.

I will never go to this place again! I’ve only been once and the food was ok at best. Just called and whoever is answering the phone was straight up rude and told me that she couldn’t tell me what I should order based on what items I wanted because she had a line!! That’s not my problem! I bet she would not have the same energy if I was standing there!
