ok...the seating process wow to have someone tell you that you only have two hrs to drink and eat 🤣 after you checked on your table and they told you it was a wait just 10 mins ago but they are over 30 mins late seating you is crazy......yet sis said my 2 hrs supposed to started 30 mins ago I was ready to go than ...and.. the waiter was just horrible he had too many tables my dad asked for a bourbon this man bought him a bourbon slick of cake...we hadn't even got our food yet so why would he be ordering cake?..why not ask for clarification?...than he put food on our bill we didn't order......for them to have that ridiculously high gratuity... we didn't tip nothing extra either when we usually would especially if the service was right and when he gave us the bill he made sure to tell us about the gratuity 🤣 cause I knew he knew he wasn't getting nothing extra he messed up who gets what entree ....it was sad...he didn't even greet me and it was my birthday when he came over.... I'm the one all dressed up this man went to the middle of the table my ppl looked at me like wth... I told them just go ahead he like oh my name so and so I never even got his name but it's my event and my reservation....🤣 and after that we stayed until after 4:30 because I was getting my two hrs 🤣 the manager asked us to leave. because they had another party coming we left... would I go again no... especially not with a large group of ppl... the food was decent though..... I've had better but it wasn't a waste.....I will give them that just not the treatment my bill was 400.00 for 7 ppl so have your pocket book ready going with more than 4 ppl

What a vibe! Best brunch ever! From the music ? to the food to the bottomless Bellini's. My new favorite place.

Came here to check it out since it was black owned and I’ve been craving a bar near to me that plays music that I like and has a lot of my demographic. Atmosphere was phenomenal, the owner definitely knows how to impress. However, one thing I do before I order food is order a drink to see if the service is good enough that I want to try thier food. The bartenders were extremely nice, but between me being seated, getting 1 beer and checking out it took me about 45 close to a hour to get that 1. The bartenders seemed busy but it shouldn’t take that long to get a beer and it shouldn’t take me asking 4 times for the check to finally pay for my stuff, I watched 2 groups come and leave before I finally got out, both were serviced faster than me. I Only ordered 1 beer and while I’m a decent tipper, I only tipped as much as I did because they literally didn’t have enough money to break a $20. Might be back for a family outting but I doubt I’ll return for a solo adventure. Sucks to say but I recommend just going to one of the cities for music and drinks.

This was our first time at Illusions and it was a great experience. Unfortunately, my husband got a little confused with the kiosk pay system and wasn’t able to rate our service. Our waitress, Lexi, was amazing! Such positive vibes and personal touch. The food was very good: we had the salmon BLT, Rasta pasta, and pasta trio. The honey jerk chicken wings were phenomenal. Our specialty cocktails were also very good: I had the fig old-fashioned and my husband tried the Big mama sweet potato cocktail. We would definitely come back, particularly if we got great service again from Lexi!
