I have been going to this restaurant for 20 years and have always enjoyed the food but the last few times the food was mediocre. It just does not have the flavors it once had. The shrimp fajitas has absolutely no flavor. This was my go to dish for years. I am afraid the quality of the food here has gone down hill. Too bad because I use to love this place to go for Mexican food. ?

This used to be the go-to place for locally epic tasty fajitas. They are now a bit... Underwhelming in their overall taste and flavor. A bit chaotic with seating and hosting. Unorganized with kitchen and service logistics. And sadly, dirty. When swept, the floor could create its own Mexican fajita platter. The menus are sticky. The seats are caving in and the artwork on the walls are dusty. Not exactly painting a pretty picture for you to order and eat food that you are paying for with your hard-earned money.

Such a great Mexican restaurant. They used to have a great spot in Bowie called Mi Hacienda and we absolutely loved that place we found out they had other restaurants under different names. Los Portales & there's one near Marley Station Plaza Gilbratar I think

I was driving through the area and decided to stop here to take a dinner break. This is probably one of the worst Mexican spot I have ever tried. Everything tasted like it came out the microwave or a can. The Mole didn’t taste like Mole at all, the tortilla tasted like dollar store tortillas, the rice was cold, and the beans are definitely from a bag. The horchata was good, I will give them that. The staff were great and attentive though.
Any Mexican restaurant you walk into the first thing they do is bring you chips and salsa. It’s been that way since I can remember… well last week my husband and sat down they brought chips and salsa we order and app and a meal to split to get the bill and seen we were being charged for chips and salsa… 1. We didn’t ask for them they brought them to our table. 2. If you were going to charge you should tell people. I was applaud we ate lunch and spent $50 which is high not only for lunch but also a Mexican restaurant when we split a meal… The food is decent but just find it concerning on there’s no signs and your just charging people for something without their permission nor a notice.
