Ok, every other time I've come here it was good but the last time 9/11/2025 the food was subpar and we waited an awful long time bc there was a group of abt 15 ppl there and our waiter was also helping the waitress for that table. Ok, I had the jumbo snow crab legs which was a mistake. Everything was fine accept the taste! Salty was the operative word. To the point we're i couldn't eat them. I packed them up and took them to a friend's house (since we were on vacation). I reheated them in a little water w tons of lemon and a hint of sugar to combat the salt. Didn't do any good bc the salt was all u could taste. You couldn't taste the crab AT ALL, just salty, Old Bay flavoring. I told my husband that's it for me for awhile. I've read other reviews that say they fell off but I have to try a place myself for my own opinion. I was very disappointed! I don't have any pics but I also have 0 reasons to lie. Do what u want w this info and try them yourself.

Been buying them there for many many years. This is the second time I had crabs that were reheated. They were cold and tasted burnt. You can tell because the inside wasn't hot. I know my crabs and you can tell. I have spent thousands in your store, most of the time they are good. Second time this year this happened. I only get med because of the cost of crabs but these were terrible so light and not hot. Please dont sell crabs that are reheated, you can tell.

Their automatic 18 percent gratuity tip is insane. You should not have to pay for poor service if you get it. This is unfair to the hard working waitress who have to split all the tips with the lazy ones. The food was really great but I doubt we will be going back. I wonder if they are doing the same for carry out? I would hope not.

This review is for the Seaside Seafood Carry-Out,1702 Crain Highway South. The wife and I were really disappointed in our $109 large crabs carry-out order on Saturday, July 26th. The crabs were obviously steamed on or near the bottom of the pot. Most were dark and looked burnt. The meat itself had an odd taste to it. The seasoning was minimal and also mostly burnt onto the crab. They definitely weren't up to the standards of recent years when the wife and I were regular customers. And they most certainly were not worth the $109 price tag.
