Enjoyed brunch at a table on the outdoor, covered porch with a delightful breeze. There was a mix up on one of our entrees, but the servers quickly exchanged it for the correct one. The food overall was very good, with special praise for the outstanding scone biscuits and the flourless chocolate cake dessert. The prices seemed fair to me for this quality for this DMV region and I would like to return to The Irish Inn.
I've eaten lunch at The Irish Inn once a.month for several years with a group of other older men. The food quality has generally been very good and the service excellent. Today, for my wife, I took home an order of deviled eggs with smoked salmon and capers that I've ordered before. Unfortunately, the filling was made with so much spicy mustard that she was unable to eat it.
Updated : Second time coming here for brunch, the food was good, however they added a 21% of tip for 4 adults?
Great drafts and atmosphere, surrounded by greenery. The fish and chips is excellent and tastes the closest to London among the pubs I’ve tried in the DMV. Service is a bit slow, in a chillax kind of style. Would recommend.
