I ordered roast chicken and it was tasteless and terribly undercooked. It came with a leg, breast, and another piece attached that looked a lot like roadkill. I had had good meals here before, but this turned me off.
Nice little bar and grill. Our waitress was friendly and pleasant. Our food was cooked as ordered and delivered to our table with little wait. We got the brussel sprouts as an appetizer. They were tasty. Prices were reasonable. The night we went was burger night which was $5 off all burgers.
Waitress was uninterested in coming back to take our dinner order after getting drinks and appetizer order in. We were the only ones in the restaurant so super weird that we had to flag her down 3 times before she noticed us.The meal completely lacked flavor and was excruciatingly dry. Will not return.
Korean BBQ burger was delicious! I'd definitely come back for that. The game shelf was fun and we enjoyed a trivia game while we waited for food. Service was good and I'd recommend trying it!
Terrific food and service! There's no wrong choice on the menu as everything is great. Get the signature chicken sandwich if you like spicy and you won't be disappointed. Also can't go wrong with a burger, wings, ribs, or pizza. The Thursday evening trivia is the best bar/restaurant trivia around!
What a wonderful little gem this place is! Everything we had was so delicious - - we can't wait to come back. We went on a random early Tuesday night and enjoyed their happy hour. Their Margarita Cider was tasty and refreshing and paired well with the Charred Broccoli and Steak and Fritters. We really should've been full from both is these apps, but we really wanted to try their Red Bird Burger and their Maryland Hot Bird Chicken Sandwich. We sure were glad we did! Hubby paired his with the Truffle fries while I paired the Chicken sandwich with their Apple Slaw. Both sides went perfectly with our meals! For dessert, we tried their Key Lime Tart. It was a thicker type of tart with a decent crust. Service here was good and friendly.
The Maryland Hot Bird Sandwich is FANTASTIC! Hot, but not too hot. So many flavors happening in that sandwich. Also, the elements of the sandwich were very well balanced: just the right amount chicken, not too much bread (and the bread was delicious too), etc. Totally Yum!! Can’t wait to go back!
This was my first time visiting this restaurant. We chose to go for here for lunch. Our server was friendly and answered all our questions about the menu. My husband ordered the pretzel as his appetizer and he loved it!!! He also ordered the salmon and it was quite tasty. I ordered the crabdip with Naan and it was different but delicious. For my main course, I had crab cakes. They were good. It's not restaurant that specializes in seafood so I didn't expect them to be amazing. I'd definitely order them again.
Red Bird and Korean BBQ burgers and Maryland Hot Bird sandwich were excellent. French fries were good. House chili tasted like store bought canned chili and deep fried corn bread was excessively sweet and greasy. We dined about 3pm. No one was in the restaurant, but food took longer to be served than expected. House brewed iced tea was good. Service was good. A house fly kept buzzing around the dining room. Outside dining area could do without the decorative plastic ferns, and seldomly passing by traffic which was too close for comfort. We started out in the outdoors dining area but ended up dining indoors. We would revisit for the burgers and chicken sandwich
They serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday. $5 bloody Mary's, mimosas and orange crush. We had the mushroom omelet with Swiss cheese and hash browns. The hash browns looked ordinary but they were very good. They have gluten free bread so you can substitute it for sandwiches, toast, etc. Food was rather basic but very good. Drinks were good but not very alcoholic which was fine since the price was reasonable.

This was my husband and I first visit and I have to say the food was amazing. We shared a charred broccoli appetizer. My husband got half rack of ribs with loaded baked potato and Mac n cheese. I got steak baked potato and asparagus. We will be back… The employees are all nice as welcoming..
Nice place. Great beer and wine selection. The House red Legendary was $15 for the bottle and was very good and a very nice price. Had several nice IPA drafts on the menu including Maine Lunch IPA. Brussel sprouts appetizer was tasty and not oily like so many places make them. The Ahi Tuna appetizer was a nice size, we got it medium-rare but wished we had made it rare. Still very good. The house salad with salmon was a good size and filling. If we are in the area again, will come back. Nice job.
Our first visit to red bird was a good one! We went for the Howard County Restaurant Week menu and left stuffed! The photo shows the creamy French Onion soup, which was very tasty and comforting. Because the Restaurant Week dinner menu was four courses, we got to taste a bunch of things: wedge salad, chicken wings, rack of ribs, chicken sandwich, brussel sprouts, and key lime pie. We enjoyed it all! Our server Sarah was very friendly as well as the rest of the staff that stopped by our table. They have nice-looking outdoor seating, too!
I was crazy and took my four young kids to lunch by myself. Thankfully all went well and it was due to this amazing establishment. They had crayons, paper and wiki sticks for my kiddos to play with while we waited for food. All the TVs were tuned to shows that were friendly for all ages and everything we ordered was very good. We will definitely be back, their redbird burger was our favorite. Our server was very understanding and friendly. They have seating for all comfort levels and couch area for playing board games that photos currently don’t show. Everything looked clean which is a huge plus with kids who like to touch everything around them. Even the bathrooms were clean.
First time here tonight, and had a fantastic time. The draft beer selection had a good variety. Some well known larger distribution beer to smaller, local stuff. I tried 3 different beers from Red Bear Brewing, which was a recent pint night of theirs. The food was great! I started with steak and Fritters for an appetizer, which the tomato jam was on point. Then had the Korean burger, which actually featured a heaping amount of Kimchi. That's a nice change than most places that say something is Korean and just use a gochujang inspired sauce. Finished with the key lime pie (pictured), which was made just today and pure heaven! They absolutely nailed my favorite dessert. The bartender Rachel was attentive and super friendly, but she's always been on top of her service game (disclaimer: I know her from other Columbia bars/breweries). The rest of the staff and owners were there and also super friendly.Funnily enough, I read a recent review that stated they were upset there was no buffet, but I couldn't find where one was ever advertised outside of drag show event. I guess having reading comprehension helps in life and preventing Karen tendencies.Great place, staff, beer, and food! Definitely going back with some friends!
