My husband, my adult daughter and I stopped by K9&coffee after dinner on a Friday night because we had seen some interesting posts on FB about this place. We were so happy we did! The owner, Kelvin, greeted us and was so friendly. We sat at the bar and he made me the best Old Fashion I’ve ever had. He made recommendations to my husband on various bourbons. He gave him samples until they found the perfect one. My daughter went with the Spicy Picklarita (also delicious)....
Kelvin has created a gem in the heart of Glenelg, MD. Coffee shop by morning & speak easy by evening. You absolutely have to stop in & meet the man himself. Considering the size, he has a very nice whiskey selection, especially the Uncle Nearest & Nearest Green. He even sells bottles, and he picked an Uncle Nearest Single Barrel that he selected himself & is selling bottles for as well.
Had a fantastic experience arriving here for the first time. The owner greeted my buddy and I with a delicious old fashioned. He gave us a wonderful history lesson around bourbon. He was super kind, informative, and friendly. Loved the music playlist also. Highly recommend and will definitely come back again.
