It was my first occasion to experience Lambert. The service was slow. The server, I believe her name was Briana. She was not our assigned server, but she realized that we had been there for a while. She was outstanding. The confusion could have been that we did not know that staff seated you. The food is amazing. That and Bri makes this place a must go, too. When I am in town visiting my daughter.
Service was terrible. They would bring food , but no eating utensils. Servers would walk by us in a nearly empty place and act like they didnt hear or see members of our party trying to hail them. At one point, I got up to actually talk to a waitress, and she turned away quickly and acted like SHE didnt see me. But, I hve to say, the food was REALLY good. Fried catfish is somewhat greasy, lump crab not a thrill. Onion rings nope greasy over cooked. The steamed shrimp was delicious. Clam chowder was good. It's a simple laid back place. Servers are kind.
