I was disappointed after all I've heard. Server was rude, didn't even ask if we wanted dessert; just brought us our check to leave. Told cashier but she didn't seem to care. We all agreed the best part of the meal was the soup and salad bar.

Annual Fall ride into the mountains westward brought us to the Penn Alps on a beautiful October afternoon. The Friday buffet is awesome and well prepared....baked haddock fillets and cod, large butterfly shrimp, excellent fried chicken, ham, clams, clam chowda, salad bar, real mashed potatoes, hand dipped ice cream on homemade blackberry cobbler.Beltbuster......

This was a nice cozy restaurant. We visited in the off season. There was not a wait to get into the restaurant. The food was excellent! Would stop again if we travel through the area. We did not get to visit any of the shops. Hopefully next visit.

I had a kielbasa sandwich and fries that was pretty good. If I would have been more hungry I would have went with the $21 buffet that looked pretty good. I believe this place has a craft show at certain times of the year. They also had some nice things in their gift shop.
