Had an incredible lunch at The Narrows Restaurant! The Crabcake Po' Boy was absolutely amazing. The soft roll and the mustard sauce made each bite even better.

I also tried the scallops appetizer with spinach and strawberries, which was a unique combination but surprisingly delicious! The sweet and savory flavors paired so well, and the scallops were cooked to perfection. It was a creative dish that really stood out.

The waterfront atmosphere and attentive service only added to the great experience. Whether you're a seafood lover or just looking for a memorable meal, The Narrows is a must-visit.

Great place to sit near the water and watch the boats come in. Great local seafood menu and non seafood options.

This is the first really great restaurant we've eaten at in a long time. Hard to find one this good. The view of the water was exquisite. The food was wonderful. What a place for foodies! The tuna, the onion soup, the mussels, the bread.... You name it. It was great. Cooked to perfection. Service was impeccable.

A spur of the moment decision to have lunch at The Narrows Restaurant was true good fortune. The food from appetizer to dessert was absolutely out of this world. Where to start? The cream of crab soup was thick and chocked full of crab meat. The crab cake was done to perfection. The cole slaw supreme. I'm tough when it comes to my ratings of cole slaw, but this one hit it right out of the park. And oh the dessert, fresh peach shortcake was a true taste of heaven. I need to go back soon before peaches are out of season.
The waitress was delightful and attentive to our needs.
All told, dining at The Narrows was a truly pleasant experience. A repeat visit is a sure thing....maybe again this week

Lunched here on 7/19/2024. Loved the crab cake benedict and fried green tomatoes and that the scallops appetizer included freshly made polenta. Strawberry shortcake was excellent with ice cream - not whipped cream [I preferred, and could have asked for whipped cream, but contented myself with the healthier (!?) choice!]. Coffee was very smooth and definitely kept me awake for the rest of the afternoon! I only wished there had been a bigger selection of ocean fish. They have the same Tuna that most seafood restaurants offer. I wished they had Red Snapper or Swordfish Steak. If there is heavy Chesapeake Bay Bridge traffic, this place is likely to be busy - but not overly so.

Parking: At 1 PM on Thursday there was scattering of empty spaces in the parking lot.

After a lengthy drive and with high expectations for exceptional crab and soup, I arrived at this establishment, only to be welcomed by the nostalgic but decidedly musty atmosphere of an old house.

I had specifically ordered the cream of crab soup, anticipating a noteworthy culinary experience, yet it seemed almost to induce a sense of disbelief in its sheer inadequacy. We were charged $10 for a minuscule portion of soup.

This portion was so scant that it appeared more suitable for children than adults.

Additionally, my husband had ordered a soft shell crab sandwich, but instead received a crab cake sandwich—a substitution that was neither communicated nor acceptable.

Ultimately, the experience amounted to a considerable financial outlay of $90 for a meal of dubious quality. What was purported to be Southern hospitality felt more akin to a Southern disappointment.

We had dinner at the Narrows. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful and the view was gorgeous. We shared the Clams casino and Oysters Rockefeller. They were perfection. I had the surf and turf with loaded potato casserole and corn relish. My boyfriend had the Spicy Tuna with potatoes and sauteed spinach. The food and service was so good, I can'tt wait to go back again!

What a great dinner! The setting is beautiful, right on the water in Kent Narrows. There are so many large windows that I think even most of the indoor tables have a good view.
Our server was very good and was the right amount of attentive, as were the gentlemen who took away empty plates.
And the food!! Just perfect. We ordered a mix of seafood and steak dishes at our table. The food was ready pretty quickly and the presentation was very nice. The seafood dishes were absolutely delicious. The steaks were prepared exactly as ordered and were quite tasty.

Such excellent food I went there 3 times in 24 hours! Don't live in the area so wanted to try many different dishes. Everything was terrific! And the mini crab cakes were the best crab cake I've ever had! That says it all!!

Is 9:45 PM. They acted nice for about 15 minutes. Service was incredibly slow at the bar. Chairs and tables were being put up all around us so we felt so uncomfortable we had to leave.
