We decided to have our Valentine's dinner at The Narrows. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us to a great dining experience. The atmosphere was lively yet family-friendly, and the Valentine's day menu offered some additional items not available on the restaurant's usual menu.

We had a 6:00 pm reservation but we arrived about 15 minutes early. The staff was very accommodating and seated us right away. We appreciated this and were impressed because the restaurant is such a popular spot.

We both ordered soup. My girlfriend had the cream of crab and I had maryland crab. They were delicious. For our entrees we ordered the rainbow trout and the roasted haddock. To finish our meal I had mousse in a bag, my favorite dessert on their menu.

Gavyn was a very nice server. Everything was served fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The seafood was perfectly prepared and paired with well chosen sides. It was absolutely worth our long drive!

We always enjoy this restaurant and love coming back whenever we get a chance. Highly recommended for seafood lovers looking for quality food in Grasonville, MD!

Our server Angela was great, but the food was not. Scallops were overcooked and chewy. The seafood cioppino should be renamed fish and peppers. Traditionally a soup, this cioppino was served on pasta...I think the chef may need to research this dish. I may go back for happy hoir, but not for dinner.

Great fried fish sandwiches for lunch. We had a whole crowd from babes in arms to great grandparents. The service was excellent and understanding of all the kids.

Had high expectations when walked in, real nice atmosphere, intimate setting but service killed it. Jordan was our waiter. We were seated and took about 7-9 minutes until he came over. Took drink order then came back to ask us about appetizers. We put our appetizer order in. 20 minutes later, he came back with the appetizers (2 cream of crap soup which was really really thick but ok and fried tomatoes). Finally he took our food order then. The whole time we ate, he did not come over 1 time to check on us. Finally he came over when we were done & asked about the dessert menu. Two ladies were seated and Jordan approached them within 2 minutes which was as annoying since it took him almost 10 minutes to greet us. I did inform the manager about the service. She did give me a gift card, but not worth going back. as we were leaving three girls at front desk did not say a word to us, which was akward and not professional-not good service at all.

Fine dining Seafood restaurant with cozy atmosphere right on the water! You don’t need to dress up here, but it is definitely a more upscale environment with higher prices. However, the quality is incredible and you’re getting large portions of food. The cream of crab soup is the best I’ve ever had! Definitely try the cream of crab soup. Their crab cakes were delicious and large. The fried green tomatoes appetizer was delicious. If you like scallops try their scallops appetizer, it was tasty. The Filet mignon with green beans, mashed potatoes and fried onion strings was great too. The location was great, right on the water, between two hotels. If you love being by the water, this is the seafood restaurant for you. Perfect for date night or a evening out with colleagues. Not exactly meant for kids, but you can bring them. They have a great indoor and enclosed outdoor dining area, and a bar inside. Very friendly staff. Reservations ahead of time encouraged because this place gets busy, especially in the summer it is very popular.

Enjoyed lunch on a Sunday in early January. Beautiful water view. Great service and delicious food. Tried the winter martini, cream of crab soup, nuts and berries salad with filet, beef tips with mashed potatoes and fried oysters with cole slaw, hot fudge sundae and creme brulee. Soup was creamy and thick with good flavor. Tomato basil dressing was light and refreshing. Beef tips were tender with no fat. Creme brulee would have been better in a more shallow dish. Waitress Angela was friendly and attentive, gave ample time for each course. Would definitely dine there again.

We came for dinner. The food was excellent....until you get to dessert. We've had the creme brulee, which was cold and too thick and the chocolate bread pudding, a pass for us. But our server was great so we'll forgive dessert (guess a sign that I didn't need it anyway 😉)

I have been here before several times and it was a good experience. This time was disappointing. Even my friend commented about the food. Out of all the places we went to especially Ocean City this was the worse.

We really enjoyed this place. The calamari was fresh and not overcooked like most places in this area, and the crab tart was fantastic. I forgot to take pictures of the crabcakes but those were the highlight of the meal. The water view is really nice and makes it a great spot to sit and relax, especially if you get a window table. Also appreciated how clean the bathrooms are, that's always a plus. We'll definitely be coming back.

We just left in the middle of lunch after seeing a live German cockroach crawl across our table in the middle of the dining room. We have eaten here before without issue, which makes this especially disappointing, but this experience was an absolute deterrent.

No response from management could have rectified the situation in the moment. Seeing a live roach in broad daylight, in the main dining area, is beyond unsanitary. Given that it appeared immediately after our calamari was served, it’s hard not to believe it may have come from the kitchen.

To an average person, seeing one roach might not seem like a major issue. However, with even a basic understanding of pest control, a visible German cockroach during daytime hours is a serious red flag, as it typically indicates a larger, established infestation.

We truly wish them all the best, but this experience was enough for us to decide we won’t be returning.

Dinner right on the water - beautiful view. The menu is varied ... the service was awesome. Three out of the five in our group ordered herb encrusted salmon with garlic mashed potatoes and spinach.
It was delicious
