Went on the first NFL game of the season and there was a birthday party. There were only 2 bartenders and idk how many people in the kitchen. They were "overwhelmed" and stopped taking food orders as soon as we got you the front of the line we were in for at least 25 minutes. They were woefully understaffed and the drinks are over priced.

Karen is the best. She made sure my friend and I were good the entire time. Good was great. The chief came out and ask were everything good. This may be the weekend spot I've been searching for.

I am 51 years old and a Gateway has been there ever since I can remember. And I am a commercial superintendent and a few of the jobs I have ran I get off at 5 in the morning. So, the Gateway opens at 6 a.m. which was very convenient for me to have a beer after work. The atmosphere is neighborhood like. I haven't had their food to be honest. And the clientele is very diverse from City all the way out to The Burbs. Do on a one-to-ten, it is a strong 6.
