Good variety of beers, mainly focusing on IPAs, but a variety of in house beers.

Very good beer flavors beer on tab. They serve and sell hand crafted beers with unique flavors. Very chill indoor bar with a large room that serves as a party/event area. When I went they had a food vendor there and the food was top notch.
Pricing was affordable and on point with the high quality beers. Staff was attractive and kind as well as knowledgeable

Quick stop with our dogs for a beer and lunch. Food from the Pit Stop was great - pork BBQ sandwich and brat sandwich - plus a couple of Bodacious Blondes.

It was busy when we arrived at noon on Saturday and packed when we left at 1:30. We opted to sit on the deck but one of the owners came out and told us dogs were welcome inside. We thanked him and said we were taking advantage of the nice weather to sit outside.

Bartenders were spot on, food was great as was the beer.

Great local brewery with a long history. The tap room is pretty nice, and they have a good bit of outdoor seating. Loose Cannon IPA is a staple and always a good choice. My other favorites are Double Cannon and Hazy Cannon. They have a wide selection of beer, including seasonal beers, so I'm sure you'll find one you like.

About to visit for the first time and just read you dont allow outside food only from some food truck if this is the case.how bout some info on it like menu n pictures so we as customers can decide if its something we would like or should we go to dinner befor our visit. Help us out here more info needed

This place is absolutely NOT kid friendly... the manager was completely rude and for the first time in my life I was out of character in telling him to take kid-friendly OFF of their advertising. We were singled out for even bringing our children into this place. He watched us the entire night. I've never heard the word "liability" thrown around so nonchalantly in my life… ALL OVER USE OF THE WATER FOUNTAIN.

Want a kid-friendly brewery experience? Try Manor Hill farm brewery or literally ANYWHERE ELSE besides Heavy Seas. What a joke.

I understand taking children along to a brewery is a risk. But you advertise your taproom as family-friendly… I took that to heart and brought my children. HUGE mistake!

This email is to request that for the sake of ALL parents, you remove that you are family-friendly from your website. You may “think” you are, but you are not. Not with the “management” you have working there, currently. I’ve never been so disappointed in my life. It is clear that your staff are hyper-sensitive to the actions of small children. Ironically, they waited until we paid our bill to express their “concerns.” Not to us, but to the ENTIRE bar area as we were leaving. It was evident that we were no longer welcome.

Parents EVERYWHERE: Heavy Seas DOES NOT offer a family-friendly environment. Please, do not waste your time or money here.

My favorite spot in MD. Not really much else to say except their motto: it IS bold, independent, and fearless. Every brew is excellent and tailor made to the style. Nothing trendy about the selection here, just superb and plentiful craft beer choices. Absolutely love it.

I had my husband’s 60th birthday party in the Purple Lounge and it was fantastic! The staff were fabulous and the entire group raved about how great it was! The food from Kooper’s Pit Stop was an added bonus!

Never thought I'd like a sour beer, but Heavy Sea's Cosmic Blur is fabulous!

Really good brews and ambiance!

Dom was excellent. Hung out at the bar, had wonderful tasting brews and talked about baseball. Would definitely recommend.
